Awesome movie. Definitely an outstanding classic. Goldie Hawn was perfect in her role and the cinematography and music score helped the movie to be even more interesting. Definitely worth watching.

Spielberg sure does know how to direct a good movie. Great, but simple plot. The casting was perfect, and it was extremely well written. Entertaining as well. Highly recommended.

Had some times where Goldie was looking hell of fine as usual, must say that this movie has a great story where she takes action into her own hands meaning gunning a cop or two in order to see her baby boy..Her man is there in the mix as well..Thanks for the opps, this is a keeper!

I really got the impression Spielberg was poking a lot of fun at Texas in general, where this takes place: The more sinister examples are those who live for the opportunity to shoot someone. There are traces of the imagery and poignancy which many of Spielberg's later pictures would be laced with. There's the absurdity of that long, very long line of police vehicles, lights flashing and, suddenly, we look on Atherton's face when he watches a Road Runner cartoon: creating a perfect breathing-room. These, however, are a few instances far and between in an ambling picture.
