Double Jeopardy: The names were changed in the movie which was based on the true story of former Baltimore police sergeant James Allan Kulbicki, 37, who was convicted of first-degree murder in the 1993 killing of 22-year-old Gina Marie Nueslein, with whom he had a three-year adulterous affair that bore a son. Kulbickishot Ms. Nueslein in the head at close range in his Ford pickup and dumped her body at Gunpowder Falls State Park because he did not want to take responsibility for their son. My Grandmother lived a couple blocks from this young lady when this took place a very sad story. I just couldn't understand why would a Baltimore city cop murder this young lady because he didn't want to pay child support.

For the people who want to watch it, the entire movie is on youtube. Definitely worth a watch. Such a great movie with great acting. So sad. Brittany Murphy was such a versatile actress, but I especially love her in dramas. May she rest in peace.
