What is wrong with these people! It's just sad to see all those dolphins dying one after another. Great documentary, hopefully people around the world can see what's going on with these precious dolphins. 10/10. Thank you.

That had to be the most encouraging and motivating documentaries I have seen in a long time. It provokes both thought and change. It was clear to me that Ric O'Barry still holds so much guilt for his past exploits, but Ric I believe that how you have dedicated your past 30 years to stop this slaughter redeems you. Regardless of what you did with Flipper and Dolphin parks the Japanese would have went down this path anyway. Well done to all involved. My whole body trembled when you walked into the IWC meeting with the footage showing the very lies being told. Shame on Japan for the Yen they pay for support of vaunerable nations. Perhaps if they focused on sustainable fish farms and agriculture their enconomy would be looking a little less mercury poisoned. May the dolphins have their own revenge through mercury poisening. Japanese people should really start to take an interest in how their country exploits all marine life rather than spending their lives hypnotised by stupid cartoons and gadgets. The recent tsunami may have been the planet's ultimate warning to these people. Well done Ric & crew. Brave, determined and ruthless in their quest to expose the slaughter of these amazing creatures. Japan's officials are also exposed for being deluded and defiant liars!

mindblowing how people can be so cruel and ignore it. The fisherman don't even care. the things these people do should be punished severly. movie was nice and an eyeopener to things happening in parts of the world this is something that happens everywhere. it is also the things we people ignore and try to hide mankind won't be around forever if we keep this up, tho i doubt that would be a bad thing.

Such a disturbing documentary, the pure nature of the way these dolphins are slaughtered is nothing but inhumane!

WHY IS IT OK TO KILL CATTLE FOR A HAMBURGER OR CHICKEN FOR A CHICKEBURGER? AREN'T THEY "INNOCENT"?

Great documentary, very graphic too. You can see quite a bit of strategic planning and risk went into capturing that film footage, with results! (No spoiler) 5/5

I can't say I'm free from some kind of sin, but eating a vegan diet makes me feel a hell of a lot better about myself, especially after seeing this candid documentary. I wasn't aware about the dolphin slaughter in Japan, just the ones who die as a result of the tuna industry. But it comes as no surprise considering what man does to farm animals, dogs and cats, and any other land and sea mammal that exists. I only hope when we go out with a bang, we don't pollute the planet or kill animals along the way. Let them live while we disappear into a hole.

a dolphin is not a special case, albeit a pleasent animal, its no different than a cow etc what has to happen is that there should be restrictions put in place. so they are killed humanely

The Cove is guerrilla journalism at its best. Structured and paced by director Louie Psihoyos as a thriller/caper movie, it brings audience-grabbing cinematic conventions to work in telling its story of dolphin genocide

So how is this different to a cow farmer and his slaughter house. The seas surrounding Japan are simply the breeding ground for the majority of their food resources. We find it odd and disgusting because we don't see dolphins like cows.

Absolutely HEARTBREAKING that this actually goes on. It's so sad to see what humans will do for money. So many people's values are screwed up today. I applaud Ric O'barry and hope that his actions inspire change.
