Hey Dude, thanks for letting me know, looks interesting, will give it a go fo’ sho! Was watching the Bee Gees doc last night, titled ‘In our own time’. Never really was a fan as such but they were always kinda ‘there’ in the background, radio and such. I hadn’t realised before how good they were as songwriters and musicians,, they really were playing on their songs and writing a lot for other artists too, which takes a lot of balls frankly. They worked hard from the ages of 5 and 6 which is why they became famous so young, they’d been at it 15yrs by the age of 20! The Joe Cocker prog you sent was very good but SO sad i couldn’t finish it! Loved the Mad Dogs part though, his Life went downhill fast after that. yeah mate you know me so well haha that vanilla fudge was mine but didn’t know what it was. i had never heard of them but found it after someone had it on their music playlist/wishlist here on PW. that festival was on the same list too. anyway ive just added some mixdrop for both those files.
ive kind of given up linking here because of the bots duping everyones links and will just be uploading to that czech site instead. it means i can publish my music(mp3)rips there too, which i cannot do here. im just going to use this place to pinch there stuff.

hey tom that song was good and spiked my interest in getting an album by them “Psychedelic Sundae - The Best Of Vanilla Fudge (1993)”. i think the best song on there was “That’s What Makes a Man”. the whole album sounds a bit arthur brown(ish) without arthurs screaming haha
you surprise me that you don’t do music anymore man. now is the time to seek out all those albums you couldn’t afford or even heard off and get them free. theres loads of sites out there offering free downloads.

Thanks mate, i’ll take a look when i get a chance. Yeah the VF ‘Keep Me Hangin On’ does sound a bit like Arthur Brown now you come to mention it.. Hammond Organ, great sound. I saw AB a few times back in the day, flaming head-dress and all, a bit dodgy in the tiny Marquee club of 68! Glad you’re getting to like VF anyway, they were a great band, did a lot of naughty groupie stuff according to Zappa (Mudshark). I still have most of those rare old records on vinyl and or tape, can’t bear to part with them just in case, but i tend towards silence or my own guitaring nowadays. I also have 100s of hrs of music on hard-drive which i rarely listen to unless it’s in order to learn a song..and if i don’t have a copy i can get one from YT, yeah mostly it’s just about learning songs so i can play em meself now. Time’s change i guess. HAPPY PADDY’s DAY to yer. Actually it’s been a pretty shit one here in the Emnrald isle, still locked up..oh well.. Ciao Baby! :))x
