I’m often accused of acting like I don’t care - It’s not an act.
A huge fan of Horror - Zombies especially. Will watch any Horror Anthology I come across, no matter how bad.
Also a fan of Apocalyptic/Disaster/Pandemic, Marvel, Science-Fiction and Fantasy films and series.
I will chat with almost anyone about almost anything.
I do tend to piss some people off but thankfully my raging narcissism stops me caring.
Not an official linker, but I will have a scout for things on request. If I’m online you can usually find me in chat :)
Basking in the glow produced by the rumour mill.
Don’t believe the nonsense.
Post something on DemandingFemale's Wall

Heidi Taillefer’s work is a creative fusion of classical figurative painting, surrealism, contemporary realism, and mythology combined with popular figurative traditions ranging from Victorian romanticism to science fiction.
★ Born in Montreal in 1970 to a family rich in creative talent, she took private art lessons as a kid until the age of 18 at the La Palette School of Art in Beaconsfield, though her mother was truly her first art teacher. She studied at McGill university in Humanistics, then left to become a fine artist and conmmercial illustrator.★ Nature and technology collide in the beautifully bizarre paintings of Heidi Taillefer, a Montreal-based artist who has been showing her work for more than twenty years. Her colorful style is informed by the early twentieth-century surrealists, summoning a broad range of figurative traditions, from the drama of baroque portraiture to whimsical steampunk imagery.★ Her beautifully imagery raises important questions for us, as we look to the future and attempt to determine the pros and cons relating to how far we should allow ourselves to integrate with new technologies. In the creation of her art,she works through her thoughts about what it truly means to be human.
We would all do well to keep these notions at the fore as we march forward.

Hi DF, that was very kind and nice of you, thank you and thank your guy for me, I started playing in 1995, a friend gave me a bass he defretted himself, played that until i joined a technical metal band “Agony” recorded few demos (rehearsals can be found here https://soundcloud.com/ozzium “song titles Agony and It’s Mine”, that was around 1996, then I switched to acoustic guitar and learned a crazy amount of songs, I joined a guy who was nuts about oldies, the Bee Gees, the Beatles and what have you, he sings and plays rhythm chords, I do chords/lead/backing , did that in restaurants and cafes for few years until we formed a pro cover band, then switched back to bass to learn funk, rnb, motown, jazz..etc.
so .. to keep this as short as it is.. thank you :D I appreciate you and husband taking the time.
I just had a listen through the Soundcloud playlist. I really hope you are doing something with them. Can’t get enough of GB Experiment & the TR/Testroom demos. Gotta admit, the Agony band stuff is a bit too heavy for me - never was a fan of anything heavier than a bit of GnR or Whitesnake, lol. I can appreciate the craft just not the noise.
Do you still play live? What are you doing these days?
My guy plays guitar and bass and dabbles with piano/keys. I was originally a classical clarinetist and played a little piano and guitar at school but didn’t really start playing until I was in my early 20s. I’m a rhythm guitar kinda gal and much prefer my acoustics (even my bass is an acoustic, although I’d love to learn funky slap). These last few years I’ve been playing a lot of ukulele, though. Bought a cheap one and fell in love, and now I’m sure they breed overnight ;)
Hopefully the world will start turning again soon so we can get back to playing and/or attending live music events again. I know if my husband spends too much longer at home he’s going to go mad! He’s had 2 gigs since last March!
Hi DF, GB Experiment was the draft version of BGFSTN (which stands for Been Gone For Some Time Now) and I have updated it today, just minor changes (added the string section and Synth from the old one) I think it works better now. Let me know! I love the sound of clarinet I wish you still play that, you should definitely play slap bass! its so much fun. not too difficult really just think of it as drumming more than actually playing a melody, the left hand muting and pull offs makes up 80% of it, each song has an influence or something in mind, for example “Crisp Center” is my own tribute to Depeche Mode, Geneconfetti started with a drum beat influenced by “Alpahville - Sounds like a melody”, and that applies to a lot of my demos. I haven’t gigged in over a year now so I know what you’re saying, I’ve gone mad already.
I remember you saying the guitar solo on BGFSTN was inspired by a Turkish guitarist you had heard. I liked both recordings pre & post solo/strings. I really enjoy repetitive funk/dance (I was an early 90s clubber/raver but I have a very wide taste in music)
My guy mentioned Depeche Mode as a comparison when he listened the other day.
I tend to watch a lot of bass covers on Youtube… If I spent as much time learning as I do watching other people play, I’d probably be half-decent by now lol. My clarinet is in the attic. Haven’t played in years. I’m quite ashamed really. I was quite good.
Don’t know if these guys were popular over there but they did some great 80s pop-funk amongst their chart hits. It’s what GB-Ex kinda reminded me of Curiosity Killed The Cat - Bullet
Oh nice, that’s pretty funky! (the Curiosity Killed the Cat tune) I like stuff like that , check this https://youtu.be/4v_i_DBpEak, its a synth-Bass, but I still like it alot, and this guy (Mudvayne’s Bassist) https://youtu.be/hAReGtnFVs0 he can make his bass talk.
I watch a lot of bass covers too that’s fun I have to admit!

Top Secret was founded in 1991, but has its roots in the rich drumming traditions of the band’s home city, Basel, which is known for its annual carnival called Basler Fasnacht. The city is said to have over 3,000 active drummers at any one time.Basel drumming style is militaristic, derived from the military drumming drills of Swiss soldiers dating back to the Middle Ages. Top Secret in many ways adheres to the military nature of Basel drumming, but differs in many respects. Its drummers play at a much faster rate. Also, while traditional Basel drumming is somber and favors traditional marching tunes.
