Wow, I REALLY enjoyed this and I LOVE the new character. Without saying too much, it was nice to have this after that first episode, whew,... I think next weeks going to be another heavy one though! My only complaint is that there isn't enough! I need like, an episode every day of the week! Still loving this show, after 7 seasons!

Ha! I knew TWD was going to do a episode focusing on the other two important characters! Granted it was still a good recovery episode after last weeks.

Great episode on this side of the story. I hope soon enough it'll combine with Rick's side. And I wonder if those pigs were to be considered as tainted meat. If not I think the writers made a little mistake because I'm sure we can recall what happened to those guys that chopped off bob's leg after he got bitten and they ate it.. Anyways only complaint is that the episode felt to short! I guess that's always the case with TWD lol

As someone who has never read the Graphic novels this show is based on and from the groups past experiences meeting new groups/communities and things that always look "to good to be true" BEING too good to be true, i was under a certain impression when i heard about King Ezekiel...i thought to myself "another crazy, megamaniacal douchebag the group is gonna have to deal with, but let me just say i am REALLY happy with his introduction, and using Carol as the one to meet him and "feel him out" was perfect in so many ways because of the way she views the world now. Who better to meet the "new guy" first, right?..i get why he has been introduced..from what i have heard (could be just rumor or totally wrong though), King Zeke plays a pretty big role in the comics after his introduction, i just never knew whether he was good or evil because as i said, i never read the comics...whether he is good or evil or nuts, i really like his character, he seems "real" but it is still to early to tell i think...really looking forward to seeing how this all plays out and what Carols new "situation" is...i think i know but i don't want to say anything lest it be considered a spoiler but it was brilliant on KE's part if i am right. A solid character developing episode...and for those who complain about the lack of action and gore..were you upset watching what happened the first episode? Were you upset ANYTIME a main character that you felt you had an emotional investment in died in this show? If your answer is Yes, then you have episodes like THIS one to thank for that! If it weren't for episodes like this you would never have felt a thing when a character died because you just wouldn't give a damn...it is episodes like this, the ones that concentrate on character development and exploring their different psyches that allow us to become "connected" to our favorite characters and what makes this show the HUGE success that it is...just think about that the next time you complain about lack of guts and gore and action...CHEERS!

Nice contrast to the season premiere, which was very dark. Kingdom of Light vs. Army of Darkness. The tainted offering ensures that things should heat up pretty quickly. Now we just need Rick and company to find the Kingdom, so things are a little more evenly matched. Someone desperately needs Lucille shoved down his throat asap.

I don't subscribe to the notion that keeping secrets from the people in your community is a good one, but hells yeah, I would want to live in the Kingdom. Cobbler at every meal??? No ''brainer''. ;)

"I think you're my favourite person I knocked out" lol A good episode to relax viewers from the high emotions from recent events. I like this king..he's a funny guy but I'm missing double og Carol.

Dude is the best, wise, funny and full of life. Knowing this show though a house will fall on him, before the house explodes, then he burns to death while zombies feast on him as Negan rambles on like a psychopath and beats him.

This was a good episode.. I like the King.. He seems like a pretty down to Earth guy.. Like a good ally to Rick.. I was hesitant on watching this week since I did say I was done with TWD for a while.. But I got intrigued again..

What a superb episode but why do some people need instant blood and gore gratification. The introduction of King Ezekiel is pivotal in telling the rest of the story and they did an outstanding job. People have come and gone in the main group, after last weeks episode im sure people are still in shock. But without backstory and character development no one would feel any attatchment or loss with characters. Give it another season and im sure these same people will be complaining about another boring character development episode and why they arent covering whats happening at the Kingdom. This episode was amazing

i would just like to point out that telling primewire that you want the show to have more gore, isn't going to make the show have more gore. you have the wrong audience. you need to comment on amc or a fandom website, somewhere that the marketing department evaluates. i love episodes like this where it's more about the day to day psychological effects this world has on people, but i do like when there's some trickery involved (like carol stealing things or plot twists). I don't think it's reasonable to ask that they covered rick's group, carol's group, and daryl's group all in one episode. that's just impossible. if you think back a couple season after they left the prison, they took turns having the episodes follow one group over the other and yes that was annoying but it made the most sense in the end when you see it all come together. have some patience.
