Game of Thrones: Seven noble families fight for control of the mythical land of Westeros. Political and sexual intrigue abound. The primary families are the Stark, Lannister, and Baratheon families. Robert Baratheon, King of Westeros, asks his old friend Eddard Stark to serve as his chief advisor. Eddard, suspecting that his predecessor had been murdered, accepts so that he can investigate further. It turns out more than one family is plotting to take the throne. The Queen's family, the Lannisters, may be hatching a plot to take control. Across the sea, the last surviving members of the previously deposed ruling family, the Targaryens, are also plotting a return to power. The conflict between these families and others, including the Greyjoys, the Tullys, the Arryns, and the Tyrells, leads to war. Meanwhile, in the north, an ancient evil awakens. Amidst war and the political confusion, a brotherhood of misfits, The Night's Watch, is all that stands between the realms of men and the horrors beyond.

This should be renamed: Game of Thrones : A day in the Life of Everyone (except the characters). This is pretty much about the crew of Season 5. They show some glimpses of a few characters, but nothing like I expected. You might like it if you're in to this sort of thing. Sadly the trailer that was released was better.

The scope, scale and shear massiveness of so many people in so many places doing so many things ... makes me marvel that in the end any of it makes the slightest sense. And yet, the magic they make for us is simply spellbinding. I'm already on the edge of my seat in anticipation.

Great art feeds the human soul in some unquantifiable way, and these superbly talented people have gone to magnificent lengths to bring this great art to life for us all to savor and enjoy. No expense has been spared here; this is why people all over the globe have gone nuts for this saga and can't get enough. It's fantastic, and sublime, and speaks to something deep inside. I hope it continues at this level for years ahead, and G.R.R.M. keeps in close touch with his muse! :-)

What an epic series, the fact they spend so much effort with sets is evident in the quality of the show. Love it and cant wait!

As someone who once developed PR spins, I always ask with pieces like this, what's the purpose, the message goal? Here I think the producers are trying to hedge future fallout from the show veering away from adhering to the books (or so I heard they were headed), by demonstrating how gargantuan the production behind GOT has become, what great effort is spent creating the show. That's my guess. They didn't talk much about story, just the breadth of effort behind production, which is uniquely and breakthrough impressive. I'd watch GOT no matter what.
