Things are good, but not for long as Chastity's dark disturbed past will never let her feel loved by anyone.

Donald has written a musical comedy for the year's class play, which the students want to do; but Mrs. Davis has selected and insists they do Sophocles' "Antigone." Taswell agrees to let the kids do Donald's show. Donald manages to keep Mrs. Davis away on the day of the show, and when Broadway producers in attendance rave about Donald's play, she becomes a backer.

Corliss Archer, 15, and Mildred Pringle, 17, are best friends, and get into some mischief together which causes their parents to start fighting over who is a bad influence on whom. Their fight also has an affect on Mildred and Lenny Archer, Corliss' brother, who elope one weekend when Lenny's home on leave from the Army. Fearing that the Pringles would want the marriage annulled, the couple decides not to tell anyone about it except Corliss. Then, when Mildred gets pregnant, Corliss goes with her to her doctor, and is seen leaving the office. Mrs. Pringle gets the wrong idea, and goes over to the Archers to tell them that Corliss is pregnant. It's not long before they think that Corliss' boyfriend Dexter is the father. Then, to buy them some time, Corliss tells her parents that she and Dexter are married, all the while trying to contact Mildred at every opportunity. Suddenly, Corliss' uncle, a navy chaplain, shows up and offers to give them a real home wedding right there!

When a worker hangs himself after being falsely accused of thievery, the workers strike. At first, there's excitement in workers' households and in public places as they develop their demands communally. Then, as the strike drags on and management rejects demands, hunger mounts, as does domestic and civic distress. Provocateurs recruited from the lumpen and in league with the police and the fire department bring problems to the workers; the spies do their dirty work; and, the military arrives to liquidate strikers.

A detective is searching every cabin, so Blackie forces our young Scot to swallow the gem and, under threat of being shot, to stay mum. The detective is assisted by Flora Danube, a blue-eyed Bulgarian daisy who keeps those eyes open. To escape death, the young Scot disguises himself as a woman, but that draws a lot of attention; when his disguise is discovered, he must climb for his life. Is a European union in the offing?

One busy, rainy night, he has to take a short rest after lugging a heavy suitcase in from the rain. Unfortunately, his manager comes by during the short time when he is not performing his duties. The next day, when the doorman arrives for work, he learns that he has been replaced as doorman, and has been re-assigned to the less strenuous but purely menial position of washroom attendant. Stunned and humiliated, the old man struggles to carry on with his life.

Julius replaces the bull with a more presentable one from a tobacco billboard for the introduction to the crowd. Alice fights the sad cow, sending her into a cactus; this makes her mad enough to really fight. Time for another swap: Julius dresses as a pantomime cow, and Alice throws him across the ring...

Julius the cat is chasing a rabbit. The rabbit escapes down one of a pair of holes, and teases the cat for a while; the cat finally catches the rabbit by leaving his face to watch one hole and his body at the other. The rabbit pleads for mercy: think of her poor children. Julius breaks down, and the rabbit laughs at him (after powdering her nose with her own tail). Julius chases the rabbit into her hole, where she grows larger and chases him out. Alice appears, carrying a rifle, and helps the cat by dragging over a fire hose and putting it down one hole, thus flushing out the rabbit. We then see several forest creatures playing instruments and dancing; most notably, two bears dance. Alice fires at one bear; she hits, then misses for a while, then hits again, but there is no lasting effect to the bear, which then chases them. Alice and her friends hide in a barrel under a beehive; the bear knocks the hive into the barrel. They try to escape in a lake without luck.

Many of the "Our Gang" kids are in their secret clubhouse - so secret that some wannabe members have troubles trying to find the tunnel entrance - planning their next game, which will be a Wild West shootout. They, as historical figures such as Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett, figuratively plan go to Arizona clandestinely through China and Japan, as Arizona is where they know most Indians to be, Indians who they plan to shoot. They run into some obstacles in playing the game, including objections from parents, and as such they decide to postpone it until the wee hours of the next morning and play it in the streets of the neighborhood. As it begins to rain during the middle of their shootout that morning, they decide to take refuge in a neighborhood house. What they are unaware of is that the house belongs to inventor W.R. Jones, who rigged it to be a "magnetic house", a demonstration for a possible amusement park attraction. Not knowing about the house's rigged contraptions leads to a lot of misadventures for the gang not related to shooting Indians as they try to figure out what's happening around them.

Soon she has the hens striking for "shorter hours" and "smaller eggs". Alice and Julius need to fill an urgent egg order. They spot two roosters fighting. They organize a pugilistic event, and charge each hen one egg admission. Alice and Julius fill their order and drive away ... but the load slips off, breaking all the eggs.

She is knocked into a dream world where she and Julius the cat build a snowman and fire snowballs at targets. Unfortunately the landlord (a bear reminiscent of Simon Legree) happens by at this time and threatens to take away their cabin. Julius and the landlord end up dueling with icicles, and mayhem ensues, ending with Alice and Julius' cabin falling into a partially frozen river towards a waterfall.

To win the prize Charley has to sell those pens - surprisingly he wins, but the ship turns out to be a wreck on it's last trip to the scrapyard. To make things worse they accidentally leave their young daughter on the dock and the ship sails without her. What else can go wrong on this trip?

Henry, in his 60s, is still a boy at heart: he has his chauffeur stop the car so he can join a sandlot game. He bails on a meeting with his board of directors, going with the kids to the factory site where he stops the workers and helps our gang add more rides. The directors follow him, and they get put to work. Will they ever have their meeting?

When Armand regains his health, Pierre takes him around town and introduces him to many women, and Armand has no objections. Marie - jealous of the women - swears revenge on Marcel. They meet and he falls in love with her, and they are married while Armand is away in London. On their wedding night, Marie tells Marcel she is an Apache and her revenge is complete, and she rushes into Armand's arms. But another Apache, in love with Marie, wounds her with a gun shot.
