ummm… the early ‘60s weren’t quite 70 years ago, but yeah — long time waiting for this.

You are quite right, sorry senility got to me, I’m 74 now so I meant about 60 years ago. I think I last read them about 20+ years ago

I first read The Foundation Trilogy in the early ‘60s, which means I’ve waited over 60 years for this!!!
As a matter of interest are, I think 3 more books, but the last one Dr. Asimov wrote(the 4th if memory serves) ties together EVERY ScFi book he ever wrote, including the Robot books.
The last books were written by other authors of note, without digging them out of my cherished library I cannot remember their names

The first few minutes and I was wondering whether this was going to be worth my time. but then!! it took off.
If this first episode is going to be the standard, then I’m hooked

I know what you mean. I have a strong constitution but knowing that this really happened and if there is footage or photos of the procedures, I don’t think I could stand to watch it. This is not a Hollywood movie showing a lesser ugly side of the human race, it’s not sugar coated. This is things that nightmares are made of.

General Eisenhower on seeing the camps immediately ordered that they be fully documented and filmed in detail as sooner or later some Son of a Bitch(I quote) will start to deny it happened - read the news lately??
Also, my great uncle Ted was the soldier who stood guard over “The Beast of Belsen” who was camp commandant. His photo is in the Holocaust Museum in New York and I have a copy

The Big Bang Theory (2007)

watching this show for so many season’s and for so long, kind of makes me feel like I was sitting right there on the couch with the rest of the big bang theory family, like i’m sure it does for so many others. And as I sat and watched the final episode, as the cast held back there tears during some of there best scenes in my eyes, I couldn’t help but feel like I was losing a member of my own family, or members. And as the speech was given, by you know who…(no spoilers) and while they all held in their tears, I found myself holding in mine as well. Watching the show for so long has become part of my life, and It really saddens me that a part of my life has comes to an end, almost like I’m losing a body part. Ive been binging the show now from season 1, buts its just not the same knowing that when I come to the end of season 12, there is no more. Hopefully the show can be picked up from another network, but some of the actors have said that they don’t plan on coming back if that was to happen. hopefully as time goes by, they will end up staring to regret that decision and change there minds. much love to the cast, writers and directors of this fabulous piece of TV history that a lot of us will remember for the rest of our lives.

Jim Parsons has already said he won’t come back. From what I’ve heard he was part of the reason the show ended
