Never seen this show before, and it had me laughing t times. I love listening to the Scottish accent. Definitely will keep watching.
An interesting episode. Nice to see a young Minnie Driver and Michael Sheen.
A new discovery for me. And so far, so good. Another keeper for me.
Nice and creepy short. Definitely worth watching.
It took a little while for me to get into Fitz’s character, but I got there eventually. He’s interesting, to say the least. And he rubs me the wrong way, at times. But I’ll keep watching.
Another one to keep on watching. I like it so far. I didn’t realized that Dominic Monaghan’s career went so far back. He was still a teen, back then. Cool.
I read about this case a lot, throughout the years. And it still baffles me that this person got away with it for so long. The perfect depiction of what a psychopath behaves like. Manipulative, getting involve in his community life, mimicking a normal behavior. All smoke in people’s eyes, so he can continue his perverted activities. I wonder how many lives could’ve been saved, had the police taken the surviving victim’s statement seriously. We’ll never know. A creepy story, still after all these years.
I’m on the fence with this show. It’s not bad, but I’m not enamored yet. Maybe it will grow on me, as I go along the series.
I liked this episode. Another new series for me. And one I intend t keep on watching. Davies boss sure is a prick. Good one.
I don’t know what to make with this show, yet. Right off the bat, it’s hard for me to believe that a mentally unstable detective, would still have a job, at the London Metropolitan police. And everybody around him seems to be fine with it? I don’t think so. Somebody like that would be a danger to himself and his colleagues. I’ll see how future episodes goes, but this first one was hard to get into.
Nice. This definitely has my attention. Can’t wait to see how it develops, further into the storyline. Another one to keep.
This was very boring. And it was not scary at all. Pass your turn, there’s better out there.
No problem. I finally got to Denmark last fall - Copenhagen. What a beautiful place. My father’s father is from there. I spoke to a waiter in Danish and he asked me how I learned it and I told him from watching Danish crime shows. He laughed and said he won’t watch them. They’re too dark and gory. LOL I also really enjoyed Unit One and The Protectors. Also Bron - or The Bridge.
Cool! I shall give those shows a try. Thank for the suggestions. Good day and be safe! :)
you can send it pm Bella. There certainly no reason why ponder needed to be abrasive, he could have contacted you by pm as well…
Dully noted. Thank you.
A strange character, this Dr. Anthony Hill. I don’t know what to think of him, yet. He’s definitely a different breed. I will keep watching, and eventually, I’ll make up my mind about him. An interesting and weird episode.
I had to look long and hard to find this series on the net, and I realized that it was not easy to do. If you must know, I saw it on another site. A sister site of Putlocker. Now, I don’t know if they will allow me to give you the link, though. Maybe I can send you a message and do so? You tell me. Good day!
You won’t regret it. It’s the original “The Killing” and it’s fantastic. I’ve actually watched it twice. It’s better than the US version although it was really good too. Enjoy!!
I will take your word for it, for I am already hooked. Thanks for your endorsement of this series.
Wow. I was mad for a while after watching this episode. The negligence and uninterested attitude of the police toward these women, was astounding. And I’m convinced that their skin color and their addictions, was part of their inattention to do anything. “Protect and serve”, right? What a joke, in this case.
Yep. I’m hooked with this first episode. I will definitely keep watching this series. Another keeper for me.
Not bad of a first episode. The character of Dalziel annoys me. He rubs me the wrong way. But I’ll continue to watch, see how much I’ll like it in future episodes.
OK. This first episode had definitely caught my attention. I can’t wait to see how this story goes. I have a good feeling about this.
I wasn’t sure about this show, at first. But I went along with it, giving it a chance. Glad I did. So far, so good. Will keep on watching.
I remember fallowing this case, when it happened in the 90s. It was twist after twist, and at the time, I thought Cheely and Gustafson would get away with it. A twisted and dark story, with everybody losing. What a family, those Gustafson. Mom and dad must be very proud of their brood.
It was OK, no more. The scenario has been done before.
That was not bad at all, actually. Tom Bateman was sexy, cool and creepy as hell. I giggled a couple of times. But the ending was predictable. Ruined the whole thing for me. I will keep watching, to see if the show gets better or worse from this episode.
Loved this series back then, and it’s nice to revisit again.
Yup. Liked this first part. Once again, another British series to watch for me.
Another one to keep for me. Liked this first part.
Loved this first episode. A new favorite for me.
Compared to the other 2 sequels, this one was the most watchable. Not memorable, but a bit better.
Nope. This is not worth your precious time. There’s better to watch out there.
Only one story was kind of OK for me, the fairy story. The rest, were incoherent and uneven. The second one, left me scratching my head, for it had no sense. Very boring. Just pass your turn.
Not a masterpiece, by any means. There was only one story that was watchable to me. The rest, boring as heck. There’s better.
New show for me. And I will keep watching, for I liked it, so far.
I should’ve stayed away from this crap. Read the reviews, but against my better judgement, gave it a shot. I wish I didn’t. This was predictable, and as cliche-filled as they are today. Too many jump-scares, no horror. And the ending sucked, just like everything else. Pass your turn.
Reconnecting with this show lately, feels good. Loved it!
Good episode to watch.
I liked this series. It’s unfortunate that it was cancelled. Hope it comes back, somehow.
That was just OK for me. It didn’t feel like there was a resolution, to the story.
Another new series discovered, for me. And I like it. I will keep watching.
Yup. Finally, this was an interesting storyline, especially for an Asian horror movie. I have to admit, at first, I though I had things figured out. But they threw a wrench in my though process. And I liked it. At first, I thought that this was too long for what I thought was. But in the end, it felt like no time at all. The twists and turns were warranted after all. Good watch. A rare feat in Asian horror movies for me, nowadays. Worth a watch.
A good episode to watch.
A very clever episode. Nice!
This episode left me rather underwhelmed. Just OK for me.
Mentally clever episode. Good watch.
The first story was the most interesting to me. The second was strange as heck, and the third, was just OK. In all, it’s a one-time watch, but not memorable.
This movie was tedious and boring beyond belief. And it wasn’t even scary, the least bit. There was nothing that I haven’t seen before, or done much better. It’s become tiresome to have the same background story of bullying, in so many Asian horror movies. I don’t get it. The main character literally got om my nerve after a while. I wanted to shake some sense and life into her. And, the ending was strange to me. This movie was a miss for me.
A good watch, that was also sad. Worth watching
I thoroughly enjoyed this hour with the ladies of jazz, from the past to the present. There were some that I never heard of before, which sent me in an obsessive Youtube search for them. I definitely recommend this, especially if you like jazz.
