Must be on your end, they (links 1,3) work fine for me. Only #2 has been 404’d.

this was far better than ten minutes to midnight and Barbara Crampton is a true 80s horror icon not who ever that was in ten minutes to midnight and this was actually a good movie

Ten Minutes to Midnight (2021)
tapwater 2 points 19 hours ago.

Do not avoid, campy horror fans. This is a fun homage to the 80’s classics. Like most of those, the first 15 minutes or so are kind of boring but it picks up quickly. You have gore, cheesy humor, and horror icon Caroline Williams (Stretch from TX Chainsaw 2), what more could you want?

Odie 1 points 18 hours ago.

Thanks for the heads up! Cant wait to throw it on!

On my watch list. Another Apple TV+ hit I am sure that airs April 30th. Cheers… :D

RoboPhone 1 points 2 hours ago*.

Good pick, Flick!
This miniseries is based on the 1981 novel of the same name by Paul Theroux, which was made into the 1986 film starring Harrison Ford and directed by Peter Weir.

“Unlike Weir’s relatively faithful depiction, the novel is a jumping-off point for this new Apple TV+ miniseries that deviates heavily from Theroux’s story while still addressing consumerism, American exceptionalism, and the price of blind confidence.”
I too, am anxiously awaiting for the April 30th premiere date for this new journey to begin.

I skipped last week’s episode. This week I only skipped Sharon Osbourne.
I found the panel to be interesting but I still feel he needs new writers for the monologue and “New Rules.”

Strange Evidence (2017) S5 E7
Eelectric 1 points 14 hours ago*. (Contains Spoilers)

Aw come on, i know a bunch of these cases are obvious, but the ‘Thai truck flames’ was just insulting, not only is there 13 minutes of milking and repeating, but, once they get to the obvious conclusion do they show the uncropped footage, which would’ve made it even more obvious to begin with, and thus not justifying the milking. But alright, on with the show!
EDIT: ok, yeah, this was not the best episode.

Of course. It’s an interesting paradigm when an artist whose work you enjoy turns out to be a total assh**e. How do you respond to that? Do you stop liking the work you’ve always found wonderful and inspiring?

I’m torn.

etim 1 points 11 minutes ago.

Just don’t get sucked in to all the gossip and BS. As long as he ain’t being another Weinstein scumbag, I think he’s allowed to be a sht now and again—it’s a super high stress job. And I’d like to hear more than the one side’s trash talk , or no hype at all.

rascal 1 points 14 hours ago.

Just been re watching Lie To Me with Tim Roth . Forgot how great this show really was, much better than most of the crap on now which is all really predictable. We need more shows like this and get rid of the 5,000 reality shows and the CW garbage. At least the writers new how to write a good story with Lie To Me and great acting and directing. I highly recommend a look at this gem

Not every show can be “Trailer Park Boys”, “Letterkenny”, “The Red Green Show” or “Corner Gas” and run forever (two of those shows even have animated spinoffs and “Letterkenny” has animated shorts)

I actually felt sorry for Mel up until a couple eps ago. See my other comments on this and you’ll see. That’s reason why I mentioned her only.

nursepip 1 points 1 hour ago.

as you said, Mel made her bed so I too stopped ‘fretting’ for her. And yes, Bec is the type gal i dislike who use their attractiveness in various hurtful ways. Her repeated accusations against Jake made me cringe. So yeah, I was very pleased to see her get called out. Hopefully the shady and ugly on the inside thing learned something.

If I weren’t a “completer” I never would have finished this series. At times it felt like the story was moving through sucking molasses. How a group could take a part of the life of one of the most interesting artists/geniuses in history and turn it into this maudlin mess I just wasted 8 hours on is criminal plus “Poldark” was over/under directed and managed to turn Leonardo into an unlikabe whiny preachy boor. I had such high hopes. 3/10 for the supporting characters.

I was really disappointed when they cancelled this show. To me, it was more cerebral than the other series, which was FINE BY ME. I love it. And the character Of Vincent D’Onofrio (an amazing, underrated actor), was fascinating to me, especially psychologically. I really miss it. I definitely recommend it, especially if you like these kind of series.

hmacc1027 0 points 21 hours ago.

I agree with you totally. Vincent made this show what it was. I suffered through the Chris Noth period because of him. Of all the Law and Order spin offs this was the best.

Great card. Respect to Andre Orlovski, straight badass. Everyone acts like Robbo never beat Yoel Romero twice once w a broken hand and once with a broken foot. He took Kelvin to school. He beat him was worse than Izzy did and the whole thing was art. Speed, footwork, technique, combos, variety, like The Count said “A master class.” I can’t wait for the rematch because no one is close to Robbo and Izzy

See, that’s the problem with these series, with the long hiatus between Seasons I have now forgotten 80% of Season 1 and have to go back and re-watch! Oh well, there are worse things in life…Season 2 looks to be a good’un.

Top Chef (2006) S18 E3

What a disappointment, Top Chef goes Politically Incorrect instead of being a COOKING show. “This dish is too white”…black girl wins, white girl sent home. I’ve watched this show from the start, Love it. Yet… it’s going political instead of being a ‘Cooking Competition’ and, if it continues on this route, I’m DONE! What a Shameful disappointment.
