I've seen this movie at least 50 times, and it never ever gets old. Probably my favorite sci fi movie of all time, and its just amazing. Kurt Russell is just nothing but perfection, and it has a star studded cast to boot. The graphics are AMAZING for a 1980s film, and it definitely still holds up to todays standards. From start to the amazing finish it is one heck of a ride. The musical score is nothing to be trifled with, and the dialog...oh the dialog..is just impeccable. Kurt Russell's unforgettable speech is something that will haunt my dreams forever. 10/10 Stars

My Favorite Horror Film of all time. The newer one wasn't bad and definitely ties the story in but it does not compare to this one. Timeless! 10/10

A classic horror movie with disgustingly sickening bits of gore added in for fun..! I'd give this film 9/10.

Amazing FX especially spiderhead. There was no CGI at that time and the way they make that stuff look real is a credit to the FX department. Kurt is the man and seeing a pissed off wilford brimley is a bonus! quaker oats my ass! Spooky and lotsa machismo from the 80s. One of the few times that the remake is better than the orignal. (1951 version)

When I was younger this movie scared me and made me feel sick at the same time:L but now after watching it since I have matured I love this movie! I wish both John Carpenter and Kurt Russell would do more movies:/ 7.4/10 Some of the dialogue in this movie is amazing:L The special effects of the creatures are phenomenal, I love the atmosphere and tension this movie provides. Keith David is just a bad-ass, I love snow in movies it just makes a movie that much more good:) I did like the prequel but it wasn't as good as this one and didn't really add anything. My favorite scene has got to be the Blood Test scene some much tension and hesitation:D Such a classic movies and an awesome 80's movies too:D and it also seems to be a law, when in Antarctica you need a beard haha:L

I've seen this when I was 12 years old. Has given me nightmares for weeks along with Don Siegel's Invasion of the bodysnatchers. My two all time favorite Horror flicks. Make sure you got somebody to hold on. 8/10

I remember how i watched it the first time on TV 6 or 7 years ago and it scared the **** out of me. Awsome movie! Somewhere in the middle you start to feel the paranoia - who is it and who will be next?! 10/10

This movie is pure genius, the plot is very neat, the theme...well as with most horror movies grows abruptly and the viewer soon begins to feel part of the story. The element of surprise makes this one of the BEST '80s horror flicks(8/10).I'm not sure how good/bad the 2011 version is.

Someone in the movie makes a reference to 'Chariots of the Gods' the book that also partly inspired Ridley Scott's Prometheus. Really into all this ancient alien stuff. Movie was good, very atmospheric. 7/10

I love all the effort they went to with the movie and the effects. It adds a more raw and real feel to it. The isolation and paranoia is a great fear factor for this movie. Timeless / Classic

Possibly some of the coolest effects ever, even with all that plastic piping! This film should be watched at least once by all! :D
