Salesman: Filmmakers (and brothers) Albert and David Maysles follow four employees of a company that makes expensive, ornate, illustrated bibles as they attempt to sell the items door-to-door to less-than-interested customers, who are mainly poor or lower-middle-class Catholics with little money to spend on pretty Bibles.

A snapshot of another time. The Internet and big box stores have killed off the door-to-door salesmen. It is still, though, a familiar world to those in sales of any kind.

it is not that bad. Unfortunately, it is from the 50 I guess.. there is little editing, and it becomes kinda boring. If you got an interest in salesmanship you will want to watch it. I do too, but bailed out after 20 minutes for the previous reasons + the extreme heat of the season. Maybe I'll check it some other day, but it wont be soon :)
