By now, you all should understand it is not about liking the first movie better than you like this one or not. All of these movies lead up to something. They are all connected to tell a larger story. It's as if they filmed all 7 movies as one then broke them up into seven parts. In fact, that's probably what they did in order for it to make sense. That also would mean that you would have to see all 7 movies in order to make sense of it all... in other words, it's irrelevant whether you liked the first one better than this one or 2 or 3 or 4. Rather, you'll have to give a judgement on the franchise as a whole.

i just love the saw films. and yes they can be deemed as a horror for all the blood and gore, but if you look at them in close detail they are thrillers. they are designed to get your pulse racing and not know what to expect. and all the films link into one. you need to watch every single film, in order, one after the other to totally and i mean totally understand the story. not only that, the more times you watch each film, you begin to pick up on bits that you missed. these are some of the best psychological films i have seen in years and they will always be my favourites :D

Man, that ending part was so sinister him just staring up at him in a cold, expressionless stare. Man, so brutal.

Holy hell, is there a guy sitting at his desk in a dark room somewhere out there making this stuff up, or do they just ask the criminally insane?

this one was very predictable at times but it still turned out AWESOME, while like I stated very predictable however the plot was still very intriguing, the traps really made me (I don't know how else to say it but) Cringed for me personally the acting was the best part Tobin Bell was as awesome as ever it's the other actors in these Saw movies that might not be up to par with him but in this one the other actors ARE up to par with Tobin Bell which is what MADE this movie even better 4.9/5
