I wondered why Bill Maher did not interview noted Christian Philosophers, Apologists and Theologians like Ravi Zacharias, Dallas Ward, William L. Craig and John MacArthur. Interesting. To magicmojoma: You and Bill forgot about the good Religion has done. Well its a little late but here is a list of just a few. 1. Christianity ended the practice of feeding condemned criminals to animals as public entertainment 2. Ended the practice of abandoning newborns in trash dumps. 3. Built the first public hospitals. 4. Preserved Western civilization after the fall of the Roman Empire. 5. Gave birth to modern science 6. Founded more schools and universities than any other single entity. 7. Built the largest charitable institution in the history of mankind. Whew!!!!! Enough said. ----I am Laoshir,Christian and Free Thinker----

IF YOU DON'T WATCH THIS, YOU AREN'T MISSING OUT ON MUCH! Not a very Good Doc, Bill Did not even listen, kept interrupting and Man do I want to slap him for interviewing that "Doctor" he just said all the wrong things I cannot believe he is a preacher! for humor it made me smile at some parts, It is sad that he isn't a believer, I am a Christ follower and it just kinda made me sad towards Bill and the others, But that's JUST MY OPINION I give this 1.5/5 This doc just expressed HIS thoughts and doubts, I wouldn't want to follow a blind person.

One of the best documentaries I'v seen. 5/5 I'm just going to leave it at that as I'm not interested in being sucked into a religion debate, and I do not mean that in a disrespectful way. I'm just one of those people who is fine with believing whatever it is that you want or need to :)

Bill Mahr needs to get his facts strait. The virgin birth is in the bilbe Mathew ch 2 also he never once says anyhting to disprove the bible, all he dose is interview incompetint people and corrupt preists. they have nothing to do with christianity. this film missed the mark badly.

Awesome doc . I have to hand it to Bill showing such restraint while interviewing his guest and not cracking up laughing at them , especially the dinosaur museum guy. A lot of food for thought , if one were inclined to such actions . Courageous attempt to turn the mirror around and get a good look at what most feel is an acceptable mindset going on and growing in this world of ours .

loool at some of the comments, arguing gets you nowhere, why? cos if you have strong faith it wont waver despite whatever anyone else says, everyone has their own belief, accept it. it's just like someone who thinks dogs are the vilest creatures on earth and another who loves them so much, they can both give view points to support their belief but the other isn't going to automatically change their mind, watched this in class, i'm religious and i find this hilariously biased but bearable, i don't get why these things are made, pointless really, the guy's just getting cash from this and here you all are moaning and fighting each other. what i dislike the most is how based on one experience with some religious people, people then assume that all religious people are the same, not the case.

(I'm not saying everyone is like this and I'm not saying whether religion is right or wrong I'm just stating what I believe.) I totally agree with this whole documentary. What's the point of having the comfort of religion if all it's doing is killing our selves and the planet we've been lucky enough to live on? I'm not saying people of religion are stupid or anything like that but why blindly follow something that's doing more harm than good? I'm saying maybe people should stop and step back and look at what they're doing, step out of their comfort zone and try to help humanity instead of destroy it. I don't care if you use religion for comfort so you're not as scared of death but why let it run your whole life to the point where it destroys some one else's? And I'm sure if you are religious you have that side of you that says I AM going to heaven I will be saved, but I know for sure there's a side of everybody that still wonders what really will happen when they die. Why can't we just accept that side of us and stop pretending that we know everything and thinking that anyone who opposes us should die?

I think the people making comments on here are more close minded than alot of the religious people ive met. Why is everyone acting like being religious automatically makes you hypocrite? Sure there are intolerant assholes out there but thats because they are hiding behind religion and using it as a platform for their hate. Dont condem everyone for the few. Not every Christian is trying to blow up abortion clinics. Just saying Christian or not anyone can be a dick, and if you want me to be able to accept the way you want to live your life, accept the way i live mine too.

Very entertaining documentary and you definately can learn something from it. Those people who give negative comments seem really close minded and can't bear criticism.

This movie was amazing. I am not against Christians, I just do not appreciate nor condone the act of having a religion shoved in your face, and looked down upon if you don't see eye to eye with it/them. Bill did an excellent job in this movie, and I am glad to see that he had enough guts to put his name on the line and do and say what he did in this Doc. Excellent movie

This movie is so biased. Why doesn't Bill Mayer ask the scholars about the religions. For instance why doesn't he ask Dr.Zakir Naik on the Quran, who has memorized not only the Quran but all the scriptures whihc include the old testament, the new testament, bhagavad gita and so on. Moreover, he edits out the intelligent answers. I really hope that the people actually research and learn about the religion on their own.

I thought twice about commenting on this (that's f'ked up in itself). Loved the Scarface bits with the Puerto Rican guy. I would hope people of all faiths would find parts of this doc funny. 8/10
