Fairly decent 50's sci-fi. It takes a while to get going. The latter 15 minutes of the film are the most exiting. Acting is ok, but the boy says "gee wilikers" way too many times. lol The robot looks cool, as far as 1950's mechanical and special effects goes. Worth a one time watch. 3/5

I saw this movie at a drive in theatre as a child and wanted a Robot of my own, lol. By today's standards most children would probably find this trite, but I give it a 5/10 for old times sake
