Usually The Asylum makes grade z movies for the syfy channel and this film has the usual CGI effects, but, this remake of The land that time forgot is faithful to the Edgar Rice Burroughs book and has a sense of fun about it.2/5.A fair watch for a rainey day.

I expected a lot better than this. There were loose threads left hanging, the plot was bare, the acting so-so. When you make a dino movie, you have to focus on the dinos and beef up the action and storyline. A regurgitation of past films done better and on a smaller budget. While I'm a sucker for a movie with a dino in it I admit to preferring those swift raptors and pterosaurs (sp?) The T-rex in this looked ok for a young one, but as a supposedly full grown he was not all that impressive. Story: 2.5/5 Dinos:3/5 Nice location:3.5/5
