70 years plus hasn't diminished this film at all. The black and white filming and the lighting used created very good mood effects. Charles Laughton is brilliant. Don't be put off watching because it's not in colour. A classic film that will never be beaten.

Great movie. The acting was brilliant and the plot(even though the ending was not accurate to the novel)was also great.10/10

This film amazed me! I totally thought it would be boring, but this was great! The acting was some of the best i've seen and the story was incredibly original and interesting. It's a must watch! 5/5.
