Extradinary, fantastic tale of moral coruption in the corridors of justice. I was blown away by Pacino's final 'foaming at the mouth' speech. The movie offers no solutions, no apologies, no quick fixes and no feel good elixer to opiate the masses. It sets its wares out on a table then proceeds to hit you over the head with them. If you survive the onslaught then you will have experienced a brutal, philosophical and thought-provoking debate about the meaning of justice.

10/10. Thirty years ago, I named a daughter after a heroine in this film. So yeah, I think it's an excellent story.

A little slow and it's a little lackluster but it's a good story one of Pacino's best characters.

music 1/5 Story 3/5 Camera 3/5 For an overall number it upped because of Al Pacino's ability to be the character you like. but it is an 80's movie, so is a little overdone but agree I liked Al Pacino in his earlier movies. but his later movies are far and few and like most of his era show a mature and more relaxed and chilled version. Robert Deniro Al Pacino Sean Connery and I am also noticing the women of that era are getting stronger roles in present era. Meryl Streep Glen Close Sally Fields Maggie Smith the list goes on, women and men are getting better as they get older

This was a fantastic movie I really enjoyed it!:) Al Pacino was great in this movie I seem to prefer his earlier work than what he makes today:/ This movie has some great lines, it has a good story and script. 7.3/10 It had some good little twists that I didn't see coming and it had some emotional parts I thought, of which Pacino brought out successfully:D One of my favorite scenes is when Pacino is on a helicopter ride...I thought it was quite amusing haha:L

Al Pacino is always great! Wonderfully written. Although there were a few boring parts, and it was a bit slow. Al Pacino was still great. Definitly worth seeing.

The storyline is very well written. The supporting cast does an excellent job. But what is most worth mentioning is Al Pacino's performance. He nailed it. A must see for Pacino fans and a really good movie for anyone else.

Loved it. Anything Pacino does is brilliant!!! This movie is basically about everyone going crazy.lol It's a good movie, that gives insight into the everyday drama and stress of being a lawyer and working with the system. Good cast and directing.

this movie was a little bit slow at times but Al Pacino saved it with his acting and how he constantly cares and fights for the underdogs of the society. worth watching just for the humanity factor.

While the writers were not quite decisive on the pitch of their story, they had no uncertainty regarding what the story was about: Impartiality deprived of everyone other than those who know how to acquire the top legal protection, which is to say the moneyed ones. It is an overtly self-righteous but definitely passionate depiction of a system where its highest echelons have grown to be so self-important and indulgent in their own authority and privilege that they have put behind them all acquaintance with life outside their status. Lacking a scrap of empathy, understanding or real familiarity with the circumstances or liberties of those that pass through their courtrooms with varying fathoms of desperation, at times recklessly and now and again with spite they interfere obliviously in peoples' lives setting off devastation and alarm, the very things it is their jobs to eradicate. John Forsythe's character of the judge in question is the allegory for immorality in this film. His searingly portrayed unfriendliness, for one thing, condescension, another, and his admissions to his chronic lack of sympathy or empathy suggest his remarkable corruption. He actually does not care about the people who stand below him in his courtroom or their lawyers or anyone else. Herein, he is the extracted fundamental nature of the social evils in the realm of legal and government power. Even before the story languishes in the day-to-day cynical nightmare of Pacino's lawyer, we understand that Forsythe is more outrageous than any of the criminals he represents before him and all mocking quirks of fate are absolute. However one obtrusive deterrence is the synthesizer-ruled elevator music that sounds more like something heard in a 1970s adult film. Nevertheless, AJFA has aged rather well.
