What a waste. These people spend thousands to modify how they look to "improve" themselves and none of these things changes who a person is, just how they look. Before you stick a ring in your nose to become a better you, park a book or two under it and actually become that better person on the inside first.

I loved it give the outlook on body modification warning not for the squeamish there some scenes that are completely graphic and will make you twirl for a while if you have a weak stomach : ) i rate this one a 10/10 very artistic and very educational and very groundbreaking documentary....

This is a great documentary. I was disgusted by some of the surgeries and body modification. However, we fear what we don't know. So, documentaries such as this allows a closed-minded person to be a little more open-minded and less judgmental. BLeSS. K~

Great documentary but extremely graphic! I couldnt watch the penis mods or the tongue one. It just completely freaked me out! But I really enjoyed the insight I got into the mod community. Really interesting stuff. Def worth a look, but if your sensitive I suggest you stay away! 7/10 for me.

I thought it was a great documentary. I have to say that I am intrigued at how many people think people are modifying themselves in order to somehow change what they are. This is to miss the point completely. Most of these people aren't modifying how they look to change who they are. They're modifying how they look in order to more closely match who they always have been. I was also happy to see the emphasis on how individual it is.

Great documentary. Very insightful indeed. It felt pretty graphic, yet I could not stop watching. It's very interesting to hear/see the reasons why some people opt to modify their bodies.

One of the most graphic and compelling documentaries I've ever seen. If you can get through the few surgery scenes, definitely take the time to watch. My opinion on people like them has changed drastically, I no longer consider them freaks and jump to judgement. Very well put together film. 5/5

i loved this. most people get ridiculed if they have tattoos or percings or if they just look different than what the "normal" people are used to seeing every day and this docymentary gives you a deeper look into the lives of those people and helps you understand why they modify their body, either if it's for religous reasons or for vanity. I myself have my ears streched and have a few tattoos coming my way and i don't think that people should be shunned or treated differently just because of their appearance. i give it 5\5

I find it rather disturbing (mostly the vanity industry), how certain companies spent a large portion of their advertising belittling, putting down people (mostly women (because they are so easily brainwashed by this industry)) individuals with regard to their physical appearance and, no matter what you do, the way you look, what you wear, what sexual behaviour you should have etc etc is not good enough unless you buy into their product. Nowadays, it is taking this to the levels of actual physical surgery to parts of the body because certain people (as mentioned, women) feel it ' does not measure up ', to the perfect body. Go on a diet, look like a stick, no tits (because they mostly comprise of fat), no shape.....but we'll shape you like a woman with silicon implants, botox implants, skin stretching, tummy tucks etc etc and you'll look totally artificial, false....but hey, they've made their money and you look awful....but as said, ' Women are so easily brainwashed and parted with their money ', so why should we care. surgey should only be allowed in extreme cases where it is needed (eg breast implant after the real breast has been removed due to cancer) and not to satisfy the vanity industry.....and no, not for, allegedly, so-called confidence building or any other psychological ailment due to or partly due to the vanity industry. Surgery on the body should be based on proper medical evidence and not on the ' I want to look like this because I think it will make me look better..... syndrome '.
