An okay fluff road trip film for a one time watch, mostly for the location shots in Central and South America.

Hummm...the best part of this movie was the beginning and the end. Too much kissing and I am a hopeless in love SAP. It just kinda falls flat...like gilligans island the money just keeps appearing?? But I still don't regret watching it on a slow rainy day. 1.5/5 and it did not make me want to travel it made me wonder what in the world this dude should've just taken a prozac. lol. Just my opinion.

it's an okay movie, the story is actually pretty good, but I find the acting is okay. I find this movie had potential to be a really good movie if there was better acting involved, but all in all I would give this movie a 1.5/5

5/10 for the nice locations. Unfortunately the acting is pretty bad, especially the main actor who is also quite unlikable, so many scenes feel awkward and artificial. His character comes down as a self-centered arrogant douche. I mean, come on! He's out there traveling the world searching for "the meaning of his existence" or maybe not even that (the story doesn't really say) because he finds it more fulfilling than starting college.. this is all okay except that all this is financed by his parents of course.. The second half of the movie is much better than the first.

There are not enough travel movies that don't fall into the horror section. This film was a little flat in places but still has heart. The plot is never really developed fully but it still promotes traveling. 6/10
