I have to admit I'm really starting to get into a lot of this anime. This movie was very very good. Great plot, character development, action and twists and turns. I completely enjoyed it, 5/5. On to watch the next one.

Appleseed (2004) is the best in this series. soundtrack, animation, plot are all superbly done. It seems almost like a more action packed Ghost in the Shell. Too bad the sequel to this version sucked balls. 5/5

Was streaming this movie and Appleseed Ex-Machina at the same time, and it turns out that BOTH copies are the 2007 Ex-Machina release, someone needs to fix this, I would really like to see the original Appleseed movie :(

I wasn't sure I could get used it being all 3D animation and not 2D but I did eventually. This was really good and I really enjoyed it. 8/10 Now I'm gonna have to watch the sequel.
