Dzien swira: It is a bitter story about a middle-aged man, who hates his life and other people, including himself. Adam Miauczynski, the character known from director Marek Koterski's previous films, is a 44 year-old teacher, who reads poetry during school lessons and later goes home swearing and calling his neighbours' names. The worst pain for him is the next 5 minutes of living. He doesn't accept himself and even everyday contacts with others cause his aggression. Though constantly dreaming of a romantic love, he is not bold enough to make his dreams come true. The desperate Miauczynski personalizes our own fears and obsessions, which have become so visible recently.

If weird independent movies are your cup of tea, you should definitely watch this. A true gem, it was both hilarious and heartbreaking.

Why doesn't he take his pen and paper and go to Starbucks. I see lot's of "poet" types there, haha. I can relate to this movie in that it depicts apartment living at it finest. It doesn't matter where you live, shared walls are not fun. Some of his one liners were great "what, did you leave your brain on the last bus?". Anyway, Give it a watch if you are in the mood for a good foreign film (if you're not Polish). A U.S. equivalent would be something like "About Schmitt" with Jack Nicholson. 4/5. Very good.

Well, good timing in finding this great film. Worth a 5/5 although it was actually both fun and strange to watch something that is almost a mirror of my own life except for the OCD and self-hatred. Same age, same dissatisfaction with things, same hatred and loss of inhibition(although at times funny)in having to constantly deal with annoying and crazy people, writing poetry. An easy Favorite.
