This is my 32nd time watching The Return of the King and it still feels new and amazing. Truly, Lord of the Rings is the best movie ever made, don't tell me about Avatar and Titanic and their director, James Cameron, they are great movies yes, but to be honest, Peter Jackson's work with Lord of the Ring is beyond all the movies out there!!!! Great, great, great movie ever made!!!!

Now this is how you make a movie! The series are my all-time favorite movies, not just because of the storyline, but how they stay true to the books. Current movies based off books need to take note of this and stop splitting up their final movie into two.

I love the special effects and the film was made in 2002 thats pretty mazing considering the special effects make it look like a film made by todays special effects technology

It's been many years since I last saw ''Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King'' and I'd forgotten two important things about it. First, I forgot how long this behemoth movie is (4:23!), and second, how fast it sails by because it's so well done. I think a lot of descriptive words are overdone these days, like ''great,'' and ''awesome,'' and ''epic.'' But those kinds of descriptions for this titanic movie are actually apropos. ''Return of the King'' is an awesomely great epic movie! Word of advice - check out a few different servers for the best copies. Some are very much better than others. This movie is an easy five-of-five-star treat.

Not many Movies i watch a second time, but this trilogy is well worth a second and third, fourth, fifth etc, it pulls on ones imagination of what it would be like to live the story as one watches, experiencing the highs and lows as the story unfolds as if in a daydream parts of the movie is missed while dreaming and thats why i believe its the kind of movie that one watches over and over. 5/5 stars, one of the top 5 all time favorite movies of all time.

The elves were returning to their island-homeland - Valinor. With the War of the Ring over, it signified the beginning of the Age of Men. So all elves who chose to stay in Middle-Earth would wane in power (that was why Elrond was so insistent that Arwen leave Aragorn). Gandalf is also from Valinor. He used to be a Maiar until he was sent to Middle-Earth along with 4 other wizards to aid in stopping Sauron. Bilbo and Frodo were given the privilege to live in Valinor for their part in the War as ringbearers. In the books, Sam Gamgee would be given the same privilege because he was a ringbearer too for a short amount of time.

Great movie, really. You could tell that this was all from a book, but still, the effects were amazing and the characters were all very interesting. Although, it made you crave more. It's why this movie had all the perfect qualities that you can find in a great fantasy movie, but it lacked the ending. It makes you want to see the next movie in the series. I give this movie 4/5 stars.
