A classic of British gangster movies, and a good psychologically-troubled Clockwork Orange style performance by Paul Bettany.

Very good gangster flick. Violent, stylish and the acting is great. It felt like a 1950's or 60's gangster movie that usually have James Cagney in the lead.

When I watched it on dvd the killing of lenny taylor lasted about five minutes and was very brutal, in this version they cut some of it out.

This is a slick and stylish film, watched putlocker version and noticed they have missed some bits out. (spoiler alert) when he kills Lenny Taylor they dont show any of it, in the real version he bites his fingers off and alsorts, he really goes to town on him but they cut it to a couple of scenes. It feels like more has been cut out here and there too, the more violent parts. Its good coz of the actors, the dialogue and their performances. The uncut version is better but its nice and slick. For a british gangster movie its of a pretty good standard.

All I have to say is excellent. The best British gangster film I have seen. Hands down Malcolm McDowell's vest performance with the exception of A Clockwork Orange. 5/5

I really enjoyed this film. I thought the plot was great and the acting was pretty fantastic. It could be a little silly, but that's part of what made it good in my opinion. Much better than I expected. Highly recommended!

I remember watching this before I had seen A Clockwork Orange when I was 9 maybe. Too young to appreciate it. I was thinking about Clockwork Orange, which reminded me of this so I think I will watch it again.

A confused and insanely violent drama, not number 1 in my opinion but certainly worthy a watch, the acting perfomances are good.
