Excellent, i'm a soma addict but this film is great and its better than the 98 version. It puts the point across beautifully. The Shakespeare references are much more dominant in this version. I'm not against genetic engineering but if capitalism continues this is what we'll get.

WOW. did not expect that from mr. huxley or this movie. wasn't huxley a promulgator of eugenics? weird. i would say this a definite watch. in the order of logans run and the planet of the apes, with the production value of a video you would see in a drug counselors office. and three hours long? about the time necessary to become acclimated to the waters that run deep in this one. feels like a play. which i guess is the intention. i say 10/10 for all that i now feel i have learned. you won't feel like you wasted time, but make sure you have some to watch this one.

The power of words to change behavior - a point not recognized by the vast majority of people.

Interesting of how science then, and now only have little difference. It seems nature couldn't withhold time, but could withstand age. Interesting and challenging movie :)

Wow, just wow. I remember reading this book back when I was in high school and it still remains as one of my favorites. As far as film adaptations go this was pretty well done. There are a few changes here and there but for the most part it does follow the actual book very well. My main criticism has do with the ending, since in the book it is implied that John killed her rather than what is depicted(being vague to avoid spoiler)before concluding as the book does. The book is still better but that's usually the case. Unlike 1984, this proves the opposite world yet the same strings are pulled but via different means pain vs pleasure. You are provided a false sense of freedom as a means of control vs control by force. Given these two extremes, the world of 1984, while still plausible its improbable. The world depicted in this film on the other hand actually could happen, or at least more likely than 1984. When you think of it we are slowly heading in this direction. This film should be watched just as the book is on many school reading lists. 10/10

This is one of those books you have to read.....or a film to watch if you don't like reading.
