well one of the old time classics to me, the color was captivating from when I saw it years ago in black&white, still a good flick, being nostalgic this flick racked up a weak:B-.

Another Ray Harryhausen classic of stop-motion animation. At least when this type of special effects were employed ,the audience's imaginations and visual sense's were fed to the max! all of the dinosaurs are imbued with life and personalities as in some of Harryhausens other films,Jason and/argonauts,golden voyage of sinbad,or mysterious island,to name a few.and this one features many wonderful effects for those whom remember what moviegoing was like,before,C.G.I. came along.a fantasy funhouse!watch this one with the kids if they love or are into dinosaurs.By the way,Gwangi was an allosaur and not a t-rex.

I really liked this combo of western and prehistoric idea. They should make more of this type. It has lots of action, not bad acting for its time. It is worth the watch. 5/5 rating.
