An absolute staple of 80's film culture. Anyone who grew up in and/or was/is a sci-fi fan accepts this as understood. Watched it more than my fair share of times as a kid, and I'm about to add another tally mark to that count!

After watching this movie over the years it has always made me wonder if the government actually used video games to test peoples hand eye coordination what whatever fiendish plot they have brewing in their scheming little minds. The movie itself has been one of my favorites since I was a kid. Good plot, cheesy alien costumes, some bad acting here and there (its the 80's, what do you expect?) but some great scenes that if remade today would look fabulous.

If you are A., under 35 years of age, B., unappreciative of the original Dr. Who(s), Star Trek, MST3000, etc., C., never played Galaga at the arcade or local convenience store, D., find no intrinsic value in learning what CGI ORIGINALLY looked like--and horrible, truly computerized CGI even for it's day, E., don't like low budget films with no-name actors and cheap sets and/or special effects, or F., can't appreciate the fact that cheesy can still be good if it's Velveeta cheesy... then this is definitely NOT the film for you. Now, if you can claim any one or more of the categories above, this will be a good, fun watch. Definitely a 7/10 for the trip down memory lane.
