Opening crawl is in Spanish. Here is the translation: The First order prevails. After decimating the peaceful republic, Supreme leader Snoke now sends his ruthless legions to assume military control of the galaxy. Only General Leia Organa and her group of Resistance fighters oppose the growing tyranny, convinced that Jedi Master Luke Skywalker would return and restore the spark of hope in the fight. But the Resistance has been exposed. While the First Order is heading towards the rebel base, the brave heroes organize a desperate escape ....

This is going in my top 3 favorite Star Wars films, I found this to be much better than The Force Awakens. The development for all the characters was well done, but of course Luke was the best. So much fun seeing him and everyone in action, really brings me back to watching the old movies when I see these new films. Made me miss Carrie Fisher also and glad they included her daughter Billie in this. The humor and action was balanced with some really cool new alien creatures as well. I don't have anything bad to say really except that I wish Rey got better training and they revealed more backstory with her. Other than that, if you're a fan you should love it.

As a an oldhead Star Wars fan, I have my mixed emotions about this film, but the vibe for myself is overall positive. It really is very Star Warsesque, but Rian Johnson did go there. He took some bold chances and I think it worked out well. I am sure all the super fans will be angered by it for that reason but it is no surprise to me they went in this direction. With the announcement of a new trilogy and the desperate intent of Disney to build this franchise but move away from the connection with the Lucas films I totally saw this coming, and he definitely went there. It was a not too subtle message in here about letting the past die and bringing in the new. I have to say to for my love of the old Star Wars I liked it, liked the way it was done, and definitely liked it way more than Force Awakens. My one big gripe is that he probably went too far out of his way to make sure his characters were not labeled as Mary Sue's they were toned down a lot. Luke got a bit of the Obi-won and Yoda personality traits as an old head Jedi teacher but I wish he would have leaned more toward Obi-won. Adam Driver is coming into his own as the villain and Daisy Ridley played well off of him and Mark. She will own this role in the future my prediction. Finn, well he was less Finn in this one but still Finn if that makes sense. In the future, I hope they tone it down with him sometimes he is way over the top. RIP Princess Laya, the sexiest female Star Wars character ever hands down, and she played her role very well here. I really bought Carrie Fisher as the older more emotional less gun-ho general, tired of the battle and ready to pass the torch. My prediction for the next installment. Rey will do her return of the Jedi thing, show up in her black clothes and will go on a mission searching for new Jedi. Kylo will be consumed with finding her feeling betrayed and go off mission. Poe will take up the lead of the resistance, Laya will have died, his right hand, (Fishers actual daughter Billie) will be his second. Finn and Rose will marry have a kid and settle but have to come back into the fight. It makes sense to squash the love interest with Rey and Finn because she will become a real Jedi now and not be allowed. Finn and Rose will have a force sensitive child that will become Rey's Padawan. All in all a good film, well done IMO. This copy has some janky audio but with headphones it works and as for all cam copies when it is dark on screen you will see nothing, but the copy is pretty decent. 4 of 5 for me.

I loved this movie had me in tears a few times. This new director Rian johnson really gets star wars. I felt personally that JJ didn't undestand it. I hated the force awakens. It reminded me of the empire strikes back in places. Loved the part with Yoda that's when I started getting teary. Thanks for the memories when heroes were real heroes not gangsta rappers. If you strike me down I will become more powerful than you can ever imagine (wink).

Honestly for me this is one of those films it's kind of cool to watch the cam copyto relive some of the crowd reactions. I love how Rian Johnson took the franchise in a different direction. My favorite movie of the year.

I think a lot of people have such high expectations of the Star Wars movies that if it doesn't end up being exactly what they hoped for then they are really disappointed. I'm not a huge fan of the series so I enjoyed it for what it was.

Good quality cam. The beginning screen scroll is in spanish but the rest is English. Personally, I thought it was great. That's coming from someone who doesn't have much investment in the series, though So, take that as you will. It felt much more substantial than TFA and RO. When franchise movies go this long and there are several storylines it's hard to break it down into certain subleties an nuances and it's easier just to go with the flow of the whole movie and in that I think it succeeded very well. 8/10. As long as you can hold your suspension of disbelief and look past the plot armor all will be well. Which, I assume you're doing because you're watching a Star Wars movie, ha.

Goes against all audience expectations. That's why half the fan base hates it. A deep film with touching themes and great action and humor. Personally, I couldn't have asked for more, or dreamed of where it went. I think time will be kind to it after the initial shockwave is finished. Sometimes you have to burn down a forest to let something new and beautiful grow. Star Wars is changing--like it or not.

The older I get, now 47, the more I realize that Star Wars truly ended on Endor back in 1983. Lucas screwed up by not immediately starting up again with a new film back in say, 1987 or so. He waited too long. Episodes 7, 8, and 9 should have been filmed between roughly 1987 and 1994. We didnt need episodes 1, 2, and 3.

It's your own problem for higher expectations it was OK but a lot of things could have been better yes of course! But they have to keep the franchise going of course MONEY, MONEY, MONEY but it's a good copy and worth the watch stop hating unless you can do better!!!!!!!!!

Overall, pretty decent cam. Decent sound. Thanks to the og uploader. As for the movie, you shouldn't care what I think. You are going to watch it anyway. You know you are. Decide for yourself.

For the first about 2 minutes the screen is a tad tilted but is fixed before the movie actually begins, their was only one time during the video about 25% the way through the audo cuts out for about 30 seconds, other then that the video quality is actually really decent for a Cam version. This is a very watchable version. Now the movie itself.. It was a bit more cheesy then what you are used too, I didnt understand all the talk about training and yet she learned like 2 tricks and what? Jedi training complete? Lol the movie was pretty good though well worth a watch or 2. Cam Quality 7/10 Movie 7/10

Its different from the old over the top crappy " original " series, but this is much much better than new hope. This is when star wars comes to a much better plot-line due to availability of much better graphics.Loved it. To the haters :- The old ways will not work anymore. The old ways must end. Welcome to the new force!
