This is definitely one of the best Spider-Man films, it fit in perfectly with the MCU. The one thing that I'm really impressed with is how they were able to get all these lesser known characters from the comics into it. There were a lot of villains without making it feel overstuffed like some of the past movies. I do like changes they made because it makes more sense for Tony Stark to develop the classic suit we've known to love since Peter is more of a scientist and not a tailor. The original suit seemed like something he would throw together, not to mention it's right after Civil War which explained it. I appreciate them going for a more diverse cast, but I didn't care for the person playing Flash. Flash needed to be more handsome and it would've been better if he was with Liz in the beginning (like the comics) and Peter stealing her away. I'm also really not happy with creepy stalker Michelle, she better not be the MCU's interpretation of Mary Jane. Felt like a cop out for them to have a black MJ without it actually being her. We need a proper Mary Jane and I don't care if she's black, just give her the right personality and name. Everything else from the action to the humor was on point. I hope for the next movie Harry Osborn and Oscorp come into play.

Saw this in theater, it's worth seeing there if you can. Was a fantastic movie, even if they were like "Look at how green this Spiderman is!" they still delivered a great movie.

Its only my opinion but I would love to see a movie made that was actually true to the comic book version. The comics I know and love are way better than anything the movies have come up with in the last 15 years.

What can I say about this movie? Parts of it were good, others just wrong. I grew up reading and watching the old school Spider-Man, makes me hypercritical. Its kind of campy, which is fine. I understand that its 2017, and they have to upgrade the delivery-- but... Spider-Man was never an Avenger-- besides, the Avengers has enough members to focus on. Keaton played a decent new-age Vulture. Mary Jane, should remain Mary Jane Watson. I could care less about the skin color-- but certain key characters, should not be screwed with. I don't mind a hot Aunt May. But Hollywood-- how about NOT making sure that every ethnicity, that may complain, is represented in main cast? It's too forced. Some nostalgia needs to remain. The effects were cool-- but the inclusion of Tony Stark//and Iron Man, could have been left out. I do get a little irritated when Hollywood drastically changes the origins of the heroes. I should be used to it by now-- very few of the mainstream movies, stick to the true origins. LGBT is going to be angry-- thats the only group not represented, lol. One more thing-- Spider-Man with all that sh!t in the costume-- is cool-- but entirely out of control. That's like having Batman in crazy armor, armed with a machine gun.. My bad-- that already happened. Point being, he doesn't require Onstar, and 6 million battle setting functions. Just web shooters.. that he made, NOT Tony. Grrr. Anyways, far better than ANYTHING that DC has done recently. 7/10

How many times will they make a movie about Spider Man's origin? Its been done a million times. Actually, this should be SpiderTeen. Pathetic movie. Horrible movie. Even my 16 year old daughter thought this was stupid.

seemed like something from the cartoon channel, i.e. high school teen stuff. Nothing really happens, story poorly executed... total flop

This wasn't a bad movie, the action was lackluster compared to Raimi's first two films of 00's but however, unlike X-Men, I am just happy to know that Marvel has their hands in Spidey's cookie jar. 8/10

Really good film! Much better than the tweeny Amazing Spiderman predecessors, and while i had reservations about the racial inclusion casting for Flash and MJ (and their changing her name) and the way they had Tony Stark doing all the developments Peter Parker (who was a scientist) was supposed to do with the webshooters and costume, it was still a good film and pretty funny. Obviously it can't match Guardians 2, but it psses all over wonder woman. Very much looking forward to the next installment.

For the first time in the history of Spider Man (yes, I know, second appearance) Aunt May is smokin hot. Outside of wanting more Marisa time, I can live without the rest of the movie as it is.

yeah ive given up expecting these arsehats to stick to a story, stick to a cast, etc.. always fucking with shit and usually fucking it up. sure the movies are put together well and entertaining in their own right, but im just sick and tired of these dumb shits ONLY thinkikng about their profits and NOT ONE BIT about the actual fans, or continuity. its pathetic. but nothing more than id expect from profiteering shitbags without a single interest in keeping true to the original story.

In a way Spider-Man is the true villain of this movie. If you remove him from everything that happened, much less destruction would have occurred and less lives would have been lost or endangered.
