I thought it was a great concept. A new and fresh film. Thanks uploaders!

Kirsten Stewart does not seem to have much of a range of emotions in acting. This was no different. Story dragged on never really hitting the mark on scary or interesting.

There is a definite dark, disturbing vibe to this film. Interesting.

This is def drama heavy. Mystery? Not so much. Thriller? Not at all.

An art for art's sake kind of Indie. Not so much a story as a sequence of events... very French perspective... slice of life kind of thing. Some good creepy moments but nothing remarkable. Didn't love this one. 2/5

Chosen again after Sils Maria from engaging French director Olivier Assayas,Kristen really shines in her latest role...well on course to become one of the most interesting actress of her generation for her ability to create complex characters, naturally conducting her acting cleansed of any glossy, unnatural dressings...this is a story of personal grief, searching for a contact and a message, with emotions like in a pendulum swinging from the banalities of wealthy existences to supernatural promises and understandings....well done, the atmosphere is perfect...will remember a great line like 'vomiting ectoplasm' as one of the best so far this year....9/10.

Kristens Stewart's acting was so convincing it was like she wasn't acting at all. I think this is hard to achieve. I gave a go to the Guardians of the Galaxy but the sound was terrible (even in the new edition)so I stopped it to see this and was not disappointed. I was thoroughly intrigued and entertained. If your open to multidimensional cinematic languages, then the slower pace of this movie will delight you.

Great film. Great transcending direction by Assayas while his scenario is revolving around two worlds, the living and the dead. I loved how he stresses the fact that Maureen communicates the living through a meaningless materialistic purchase but nevertheless she finds a deeper, more esoteric connection contadicting all the shallowness, with the spirits of the past, another dimension. Really nice performance by Miss Stewart. Go fo it.

That was so bad a movie. I don't like or dislike KS but she is a one dimension actress and took away from the movie. Very slow and wouldn't watch again.

UGH! Her acting ability is like a fire in a vacuum chamber....nonce the oxygen is gone so is the fire, possibly the same goes for her and the Twilight series. hahah After all these years you would think it would change but from movie to movie it is the same thing aver an over. I do believe she should retire and take some lessons, maybe it will come with age.

Giving equal weight to both storylines -- KS the beleaguered personal shopper to a doomed celebrity and KS the grieving twin reluctant medium poltergeist investigator -- made for too much story for a short movie format in my opinion, but also an interesting, indie Euro style paranormal ride. Of course, it meandered, and ending seemed too obvious. KS was great, very competent and compelling to watch. If you like loosely woven tales and KS you might appreciate. She does get naked, so there's that. lol.

Very slow. Bring knitting needles! Kirsten Stewart was the only good thing in the movie. Had potential but something seriously missing. 6 on 10

A slow film, but something of a genre I like. However, I'm going crazy because the ending didn't explain anything and none of my questions were answered. I guess you could say that's the point, but ugh. If you like slower films that require a bit of thinking, with a bit of light-thriller scenes (the texting was scary to me haha), go for it.

OK, the film has considerable dialogue in French, but no subtitles accordingly. If you're not bi-lingual, probably want to wait for a version that addresses this...pretty basic.
