Every decent show it seems the networks cancel. This will probably be replaced with some reality tv dribble. Gonna miss it. 5/5

Fox has official cancelled The Mob Doctor, however those muggles will air three more episode that will account for their first season (13 episodes). The show will officially end January the 7th. The following order of the final episodes will air on Dec. 29 (a Saturday), Dec. 31 (New Year's Eve), Jan. 5 (another Saturday) and Jan. 7th.

This show is good but not great. I want better character development. The three minute back story per episode doesn't cut it for me. I like to have a massive overall picture of each character as well as all their habits and influences. I'll continue to watch the rest of the season with great reservation as to whether season two will happen.

I am starting to really like this show, the plot is pretty good and the back story is getting kind good all though i don't care for how she got involved, i wish it were different then how it is now, seems kinda lame and not enough information, i wish the pilot would have started with this

i like any drama, it has to be believable. This just is. The doc in this works the ER, surgical, and radiology, and on top of that asks what I guess was a nurse, not to "let" anyone pronounce a patient. I know it's only entertainment, but it asks the viewer to ignore any reality and still like it.

This one has potential but a little predictable, is not easy to make a successful show, i hope the writers give this a good surprise switch at some point .The acting is ok, will see.

I would be surprise if this show reaches it's season end. I can see it getting cancel, nothing really going on with the story (that tells you it will be any good), the character is uninteresting, the acting is a B rank at best. There's better doctor shows on tv. This is most likely going to get cancel.

I've watched nine episodes so far and I've really enjoyed watching, the struggle Grace faces battling with her duty as a doctor and debt to the mob and the strange balance of right and wrong is fascinating. wish fox didn't cancel it though

Most series have a pilot episode and a new 1st episode and this series opted to have the pilot as episode 1. Hope this clears things.

Anything with crime i love so this has caught my eye very quick i liked the first episode and am very interested to see how the plot develops more. I think people who have watched the first episode and are not that keen on it just have to give it a few more episodes you never people you may end up addicted lol. ;p

Well watchable, heard it has been canceled by fox, rightly so, the acting by the gangsters is kinda poor, cant deliver the dialog convincing enough, William forsythe is a good actor, but not as a lead role not even supporting, a good bit actor thats all

This was my third time watching this series all the way though without skipping a minute of any of it. That should be indicative of just how good it was, if nothing else. This time, I wanted to watch it to see what was changed from the book it was based on, "Il Dottore." I had a lot of fun after each episode looking back and seeing the elements that were taken, either entirely, or partially changed, and then reapplied to a cinematic media. This is probably the first time I have ever enjoyed a tv series this much, that I have actually wanted to re-watch it so many times. It is a shame that they discontinued it, there was so much more in the book that could have been used as a guide to create a great second season. I loved the changes they made as well, it added a completely new element to the series, and I would have immensely enjoyed seeing where those changes would have led to.

This show was great. I absolutely loved it from the first episode, it was nice to finally see a mob show that was a little more down to earth and not full of comedic relief. It is a shame that it was canceled after only one season, I can just picture Grace taking the reigns of the organization. I rewatched the entire thing running up to the grand finale today, and picked up on a number of things that I had missed only watching each episode as it aired, the foreshadowing of everything was done quite well, with each new plot twist there were hints ahead of time that if you were quick on the uptake can be used to predict most of the major plot turning points. While it isn't exactly a spoiler, rather more of an analysis of a certain point made in the series, don't read on if you are overly sensitive about these sorts of things: Had they continued with a season two, I think that following with the whole foreshadowing thing, Grace's aptitude for handling less than legal situations, as seen throughout the series, particularly in the episode with the beat down she orchestrated and her final capitulation to Constantine's desire to train her to take over parts of the business in the final episode, points to a larger roll initially planned in later events. I can't help but to wish Fox had allowed the series to run its course. It was a captivating series to say the least, and quite enthralling to watch, I had no qualms about watching it a second time, which is not a very common occurrence.

FOX has made official what most TV observers have anticipated since very early in the season: "The Mob Doctor" is getting whacked. The low-rated drama will, however, get to finish out its 13-episode order. The scheduling of the last four episodes practically screams "burnoff," but it is being allowed to play out the string. Following a regularly scheduled airing on Monday (Dec. 3), the show will go off the air for three weeks as FOX goes into holiday programming mode. The final four episodes of the series, which stars Jordana Spiro, will air on Dec. 29 (a Saturday), Dec. 31 (New Year's Eve), Jan. 5 (another Saturday) and Jan. 7, opposite college football's BCS championship game on ESPN. "The Mob Doctor" averages 4.45 million viewers and a paltry 1.3 rating among adults 18-49. Aside from "Fringe" (4 million), which is also ending this season, it's the least-watched drama on any of the big four networks this fall.
