Vegucated: Vegucated is a guerrilla-style documentary that follows three meat- and cheese-loving New Yorkers who agree to adopt a vegan diet for six weeks and learn what it's all about. They have no idea that so much more than steak is at stake and that the planet's fate may fall on their plates. Lured by tales of weight lost and health regained, they begin to uncover hidden sides of animal agriculture that make them wonder whether solutions offered in films like Food, Inc. go far enough. Before long, they find themselves risking everything to expose an industry they supported just weeks before. But can their convictions carry them through when times get tough? What about on family vacations fraught with skeptical step-dads, carnivorous cousins, and breakfast buffets? Part sociological experiment and part adventure comedy, Vegucated showcases the rapid and at times comedic evolution of three people who are trying their darnedest to change in a culture that seems dead set against it.

Very inspiring, especially watching Tesla struggle to please her family and stay true to herself.

Great documentary!!! I tried hard to not look away when they would show cruelty towards animals, to show respect. People need to know how brutal we treat our animal friends and the great health advantages to a more plant base diet. Hope more people watch this... Also, watch "forks and knives", another great one!

Thank you so much Ron101 for posting that link! Highly appreciated! This was very informative, hard to watch in some moments never the less we need to know these kinds of things in order to make change, real change not just trusting misleading labellings that try to convince us that these animals are somehow suffering less. Earthlings is another informative one though it is VERY hard to watch, but still important to know about.

you know if you did what they do to animals to a human you'd be charge with abuse and imprisoned for what you did, yet it's okay to do it to an animal? it was very instructive and I do feel like tesla a lot in the sense that I'm the only one trying to eat healthy and being vegan...it feels lonely a lot...anyways this is good to at least educate you on your food and habits and one of them said it right, there's no good guy vs bad guy...it's all about being educated and doing what we feel is right for us

Great documentary!! Though, words don't teach, only life experience! Im 100% vegetarian and trying to go Vegan, only organic cheese!! Its easy to replace milk, butter, yoghurt, burgers, with soy things. But I havnt eaten any soy cheese that tastes just as good as real cheese, :( maybe in the future

although this documentary may not change people into vegans/vegetarians overnight,it does showcase vicious cycle of life of animals and all the harm and pollution people are causing to the planet in the process to fill everybodys desires for meat. im not sure if i will turn into a vegan or vegetarian but im certainly going to eat less meat as of now. i was eating while watching this and had a peice of meat on my plate and when they showed how animals were being handled and killed so inhumanly i instantly lost my appetite. i wouldnt recommend people watching this doc while eating meat..but im sure the odd few arrogant, ignorant will . and to the skeptical people and the idea of eating only veggies, dont feel bad but feel enlightened by this doc and just remember..EAT LESS MEAT!
