Norway Massacre I Was There: See raw and emotional witness testimonies from survivors of Norway’s deadliest attack since World War II in the UK premiere of Norway Massacre: I Was There Norway was stunned when a bomb shook its capital Oslo on 22 July 2011, killing 8 people…but what happened next sent a shiver down the spine of the world. Brutal mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik calmly slaughtered 69 helpless victims at a Norwegian Labour Party camp on the remote island of Utoya, many of them teenagers. How did he orchestrate this unspeakable crime? Why wasn’t his illegal bomb making curtailed? How did he evade detection by the security services? And, most chillingly of all, why did police take so long to end his terrible spree? Following Breivik from the moment he left his bomb laden truck outside the government offices in Oslo to his eventual arrest on Utoya three hours later, this moving film reveals how so many lost their lives and what could have been done to protect them.

What I don't realize is how this guy is NOT labeled a TERRORIST by the media. They call him an insane mentally ill mass murderer? OK... So the guys that did 911 were not mental, insane, mass murderes? This guy was terrorizing these people for 2 hours on that little Island. They have to live with that for the rest of their lives.

Whilst part of this documentary is reconstructed, it does feature interviews with victims so there is first hand accounts of what happened. If you can take something from this, it will be learn from the mistakes, several mistakes were made by law enforcement and government services that could have prevented this from happening at all OR even worse more mistakes were made that could have at least saved the final 20 victims lives. Very very sad but we can learn from this so it deserves a one off viewing.

Are u kidding me? Are they really making a video of this horrible event? Anders can go and rot in hell and I hope he end up in a psychiatry clinick and being forsed to take pills! Or better; Isolation sell in prision or a clinick! I was there in Oslo that day and it's so sad. I lost my friend that day and two days ago I was at the memorial sermony. Rest in peace to all of those who lost their lives at utřya and in Oslo. <3
