hee hee - take a drink every time they say 'zombie', it's way more entertaining, lol

It was ok. I guess fictional stuff about zombies is way more entertaining then "factual" stuff. 3.5/5

I must say that I was a bit disappointed with this documentary. I rather expected better from National Geographic. I would have liked to have seen more scientific analysis on the Haitian drug that's allegedly used in zombification rituals, and archived footage of interviews with Clairvius Narcisse and his family. Clairvius Narcisse' story was popularized by Harvard ethnobotanist and author ('The Serpent and the Rainbow' and 'Passage of Darkness: The Ethnobiology of the Haitian Zombie'), Wade Davis. This documentary offered a few factual tid-bits and a lot of conjecture by pop-culture zombie enthusiasts. Decent enough time passer if you're interested in the subject. 2.75/5 stars. (Added to my 'Documentaries Aren't Dull' playlist)

to me, this was a terrible documentary.. no valid information was expressed here, it was pure conjuncture. i found the zombie film 'Danger 50000 Zombies' by Nick Frost and Simon Pegg had more relevant and pertinent information. and FYI -- Max Brooks is not an expert. He's a fiction writer, nothing else. he is as much an expert on zombies as is steven king an expert on poltergeists.

It was interesting enough, except that they kept repeating the same 3 ways that zombie's "could" come into existences... they didn't even explore any other possibilities, and only used 2 zombie movies as reference... Think they could have done more.

I am stockpiling food and supplies in my zombie shelter with wifi and cable as I text. A must see to prepare you for the worst case scenario if the werewolves and vampires don't take over.. Don't get bit..........

i wanted to watch this to educate myself about the whole "zombie" topic, and in hopes of not being so scared of them, but i can honestly say I feel better about it. Was definitely an interesting watch 3.5/5

Ummm ... Actually... this is an effect that can happen. In fact Russia has just developed the virus. So, making people into Zombies is a true fact. If you are in the military you would know this.
