Hats off to Dr. Jawad, we need more people in the world like him. I like d when he said:"I'm having a party. And if I can restore somones life, I dont need to be bloddy religous to go where I need to go eventually" I gotta say, These woman are probably the strongest I ever seen. For somone to still hold thier head up high and continue to live thier life like this, takes more stretgh than anyone can fathom. So hapy for Zakia 10/10, beautiful doc

Heartbreaking film. They should do films about these crimes. It is NOT only in Pakistan. 10/10 stars!

Hats off to Dr. Jawad for, at least temporarily, leaving a lucrative practice cutting, pasting and fat-sucking vain clients to help these butchered women, and good on the film makers for bringing attention to the subject. Anybody see that story a few days ago on the acid victim who jumped to her death in Italy? The perp', her husband, had the fckng nerve to request sensitivity from press and public as news of the crime was making life less comfortable for himself and his family. "Sensitivity"

5/5 Excellent documentary. 2 life sentences for acid attacks seems too mild a punishment, but it's a start. Great to see what ~a real man~ looks like and sounds like... that doctor is a great role model for all. :) Kudos to the courage of the women, men and children involved in fighting such horrors. Also, it's 40 minutes long and well worth a watch, then tell others. :)

Very emotional documentary. I highly recommend it. This documentary is truly sad and I really can't think of anything else to say. I'm at a real loss for words.

This is a very touching, heart breaking film. Lots of tears may be shed. I couldn't believe what these women went through. It is good to know they put out films like this to create awareness. I can not rate this.

very sad documentary but a learning experience too. So sad to know that there are such animals out there called human beings that would do this to other human beings. But its nice to know that Angels do exist and GOD bless this doctor for helping so many of these poor victims.

Such a heartbreaking, and then heartwarming, documentary. You will weep for humanity and for these women who are opressed for no justifiable reason, and in the Islamic religion, THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO JUSTIFICATION FOR THIS. It restores my faith in life that there are people out there who care. Although many cases go unreported, it's amazing to see that now, we're saving more women and restoring lives than those we were unable to help before. 110/100.

Amazing film. Such strong, brave women who were victims of acid attacks by not only men but women as well! This is not the only side of Pakistan (a beautiful country), but it is a dangerous and dark side that needs to be addressed. A lot of people in Pakistan don't like facing these problems because they feel that there is too much focus on negative aspects of Pakistani society (especially in the West); there is a lot of positive stuff going on over here as well, but people need to face the music and change the country for the better! Director Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy has made an extremely powerful film that everybody needs to watch. 11/10.
