National Geographic - Journey to the Edge of the Universe: National Geographic presents the first accurate non-stop voyage from Earth to the edge of the Universe using a single, unbroken shot through the use of spectacular CGI (Computer-Generated Imagery) technology. Building on images taken from the Hubble telescope, Journey to the Edge of the Universe explores the science and history behind the distant celestial bodies in the solar system. This spectacular, epic voyage across the cosmos, takes us from the Earth, past the Moon and our neighboring planets, out of our Solar System, to the nearest stars, nebulae and galaxies and beyond - right to the edge of the Universe itself.

This is simply amazing, the only thing that could make this better is watching it with a beautiful woman and a nice sticky green bowl.

10/10 for what it is. To watch a 2 hour documentary on the universe without it cutting out to watch a University Professor say his theories is a real treat. It is long though. Theres a condensed version of the same thing narrated by Leo Dicaprio called "IMAX Hubble 3D". Just as good, but far better at the IMAX at Kennedy SC. Quasars are badass.

This is a decent beginner level documentary. If you're interested in the universe and have taken time to study/read about it, you'll probably learn nothing new from documentary. However, the voice of the narrator and the CG projection kept me intrigued. Definitely worth a watch, and I'd probably watch it again.

This was hands down the most amazing, mind blowing, breathtakingly documentary I have ever seen. I can't even describe how I am feeling right now. I look up into the stars at night and I can't even comprehend our existence. This is just surreal and scary I can't even think straight. Honestly, the whole existence of the theory of god and other religions seems just so naive and silly I truly don't understand how the Christian mind works. How they would chose to understand the meaning of a un-proven myth, rather than the entire truth of science, the big bang and the origins or life as we know it. I know if I did show this documentary to a religious person, it would open up their mind and show them the truth, that they have been living a life full of lies through-out their life. National Geographic NEVER fails to disappoint me and I feel as though the key to the meanings of life has unlocked inside my brain.

This was breathtaking, hands down the best documentary I've ever seen. It's great to watch something like this without stopping so that the scientists can give you their theory as to how this happened or how that formed, just to have them say they really don't know how it did with their limited access to the location, being thousands of light-years away from, but you still gotta give them credit, they do their best with what little they have... but like I said, its nice to go thru the documentary just explaining what is being seen without all the speculation of what might be. But, those are just my thoughts, I'd recommend anyone to see it for themselves. You won't be disappointed!
