I think it would be cool to have a sort of "all-stars" season, but not with former contestants. I would like to see established tattoo artists go head to head in a sort of Iron Chef way.

So like I said in a previous comment, I wasn't a fan of season 5 (even though I was pleased with the top 4 and winner). But season 6! I'm honestly loving it. Master/apprentice was a great idea, it's nice to see some people being supportive and proud rather than cocky and vengeful. Sure there's still some useless drama but we know they can't do reality TV without it now, and it's much less than before. I also really liked most challenges, and I love that we're seeing more and more women (even though most of them don't make it far). Definitely one of my fave seasons.

On Season 7 now and this show just keeps getting better . Always pushing the limits , along with continuously amping the stress and competition levels on both the competitors , judges and us the audience . IMHO this show has transformed from the typical Game Show we're all accustomed to , and blossomed into a new creature which stands apart and is a force that seems to have a life of it's own . Regardless of how many seasons it has left , in the future this show will standout and maybe spawn a whole new genre of other programs at this level or beyond .

I agree... they are all a bunch of nasty individuals.

I honestly love this show. Sometimes, yes, its a little frightening that these folks are tattooing their mistakes onto people, but it certainly is interesting to see their different takes on the challenges. I suggest this show to anyone whom loves or even likes tattoos. It is interesting!

The last few seasons I had begun to despair that, perhaps, the best talent willing to participate with this competition had already been seen. This season of Masters vs. their Apprentices (season six) I am VERY happy to be proven wrong. There are definitely more good to great artists this season than fair to mediocre. The first episode was pretty brutal in what was asked of these artists and may well be the toughest opening episode of this show. I also like that the canvas jury's worst tattoo pick is now part of the judging process as it gives the chosen artist the opportunity of hearing WHY they were chosen. Keep it coming! Enjoy!

I actually like this series. I'm glad they finally put it on here. At least its not like another miami ink, NY ink, LA ink, etc.

I would like to see an Ink Master Legends season where Chris and Oliver compete along with passed winners and other tattoo legends. I think it would be interesting to see the tables turned on Chris and Oliver and some of the passed guest judges. They would have to get a couple ultimate tattoo legends to be the judges though.

I am not liking season 5 so far. I loved previous seasons, even though you could see it was getting more and more about the drama rather than the tattoos. Like, the time devoted to the critiques got shorter and shorter, while the scenes in the loft took up more and more time. But I was still cool with that until season 4, because it had really talented contestants and great challenges. But season 5? I'm not seeing anything great about their tattoos so far, actually I'm not seeing much of their tattoos at all since they spend 3/4 of the episodes showing stupid fights and people dissing on each other. I don't like that, but I'm still going to watch the whole season, and hopefully the final 5 or 4 will be when only the best artists are left and it gets really interesting!

That annoying whiny white chick in the current season needs to go. Psycho.

very entertaining, interesting, as well as educational in my opinion. A friend told me about this show, and I wasn't sure if it was going to be another spin off of a tattoo shop type show. It's like the face off show but dealing with ink. I enjoy how not only due to I love tattoos, nor am I an artist type, but how they also show different types of tattoos (old school, new school etc). Would like to see the show explain more of the different gene of tattoos at the end of each show, but other than that. Very nice show, and worth the watch

Art comes in many forms , this show is a fine example of tattoo styles and there really isnt time for the bs drama of some reality shows .I really enjoy seeing the different styles and talents of various artist just doing there thing .

love this show, Josh is a great tattooer (except for a couple of really bad choices), he may not be able to draw his own designs but I would rather get a tattoo from him than 99% of the other artists, at least he is technically sound, even though he's a tool at the same time. You just need to make sure that he hasn't smoked too many bongs before getting a tattoo from him else you may end up with some Picasso looking mind trip tattoo that is supposed to be your mum's portrait.

I don't like fact that they can't finish their work after those 2 hours it is just not fair, what kind of artist will leave you with unfinished tattoo??

Its a good show better than ny ink in my opinion it focuses more on the tattooing rather than a depressing sob story, just waiting for the next episode.

Cool Series.. but I can't say I liked who won!!! There should be an International competition since the one who won here, can't say it's the best in the world!!
