A decent enough production from hbo, easy to watch and stay interested. I didn't like how they portrayed Paulson given that he was one of those directly responsible, and participated in the irresponsible practices of investment banks. It is a drama however. Check out Inside Job for a more honest analysis of those events.

Made the participants seem human, and was far too sympathetic with their shenanigans. Particularly Bernanke. Not one has seen the inside of a prison cell. The SEC decided to not prosecute anyone as it left the banks open to public prosecution. Governments were threatened by the banks - give us money or else. There was a crash in 1920-1921 that is not talked about. It lasted for so very little time as no one was bailed out. The bankers of course prefer for history just to show as an example the 1929 crash as the bank were bailed out then. But look how long it took for the economy to stabilse - just like now. It was only war that saved the economy back in the thirties.

Good HBO production with experienced cast....true magic circle situation and 700 billion dollars ultimately down the drain...3/5.

good acting and a decent movie on the 2008 depression hit that lead to robbing the ppls money to pay the banks from creating the 2nd depression, to bad were stuck with the bill and they still want our money, not like anyone from their circle stood in front of government and threaten to do a depression hit if not paid lol (it happen in reality) TOO BIG TO FAIL in deed, worth a watch doesnt give the real approuch that they did, rather a deceptive portray on what may have happen so it looks like the real ppl did their job to the best of there ability, entertainment only, remember hbo onwed by one or a few of these ppl and media is a tool to control if used in the right manner, you can read between their lines you can see that those lines are forced in to give assurance that you may be wrong and this is what it is. "any one here not from goldman sachs" 8/10

Based on pure entertainment/interest value, this is an extremely well done movie. Solid performances by stellar actors; impressive writing and great pacing with developing intensity. Sensitive photography and music...it just all worked together. The fact that the story is non-fiction is a mind blower. 9.5/10 Terrific.

What an incredible amount of talent in this film and it really is scary , the shit that goes on behind closed doors that we are not privy to considering it is our lives they are juggling around in there. Definitely worth a watch and almost a must see. 8/10

Good to know all I need to do is get super rich so that way I can just be given more money. These guys are crooks, the people are the real ones that need the money.

Good movie and actors. I doubt this is even part of the whole story but it certainly does show part of the power plays and the bullying, greed and desperation of the companies that robbed the banks and the people of the USA. Glad I'm not there. 3/5
