This is a remake of Akira Kurosawa's Yojimbo and a worthy remake at that. This is my favourite bruce willis film. It has some great action scenes and it is a great story. Walter hill really made this his own with hundreds of bullets flying and a brilliant first death scene. I really enjoy watching this film and if you like action you will to 8/10. Best scene - the first death scene, the guy gets some distance

Bruce Willis' best movie, hands down. John Smith is the kinda tough every wise guy wanted to be.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned this is a remake of the classic film A Fistful of Dollars.. Set in prohibition era this is an easy watch, lots of action etc. Bruce Willis seems to have an unlimited supply of ammo throughout the film (typical of modern Hollywood). Worth a look but if you want to watch an epic film then watch the original Fistful of Dollars, much better

I didn't like this film that well. Bruce Willis is a fantastic actor, but I don't think westerns are his kind of movie. Lots of good action, but really not that entertaining. Still worth a watch though.

This movie was pretty good. It was not Bruce Willis' best movie, but it definitely was not his worst. The format of the plot is very similar to a contemporary western set in the 1920's to 1930's. There is a good amount of action and suspense. Bruce does a fine job here as well as the supporting cast members. Overall I give it 4 out of 5 stars, but that is being generous. Good entertainment value for a one time watch. Thanks!
