Brilliant little comedy/horror film writin by Keven Lahane. Great acting by an emsamble of relativly unknown Irish actors. Richard Coyle joins the ranks of the very few non-Irish actors to pull off an authentic accent. Feckin hillarious and defo worth a watch 5/5. (The old drunk fisherman deserves an oscar, brilliant!!).

Beautiful flick. Aside from such good special effects every B movie could be like it if the folks behind it had the will. Simply done but worked to perfection.

This is a lovely british horror / comedy movie. A thoroughly enjoyable movie which is heartily recommended. And it has Richard Coyle, already a cult actor in GB. Don't foget a pint of beer of your choice...

Fecking Brilliant ... only the Brits could have pulled this off. Hilarious movie, I laughed and laughed and laughed. Of course, I love British humor anyway. 5/5

I hereby nominate this film for the prestigious Army of Darkness Award, wherein only films with good creatures and a massive amount of humor can be considered. I love anything Irish (hey, I'm half Irish!) because they know how to make fun of themselves. The varying types of inebriated characters are classic, and the main male and female characters are absolutely adorable - great chemistry. If you just want scares, that's here. If you want creatures, they are here. Comedy, here. Amusing story, here. It's ALL here in this movie. 5/5.

The picture above gave me the expectation of a badly put together low budget film with awful special effects but was none of these things. Was a very charming, nicely acted, well put together film with working special effects and endearing characters. Very enjoyable.

A great little horror/comedy from the Irish,it's really refreshing to see alcohol portrayed in a positive light for a change and it leads to some very funny situations,7/10.

Two words : Outrageously hilarious ! If you're into such movies as 1990's Tremors starring Kevin Bacon and good ol' Fred Ward or 1992's Braindead, you're gonna love this one. Perfect mix of ol' school monster movie, off beat humour/dialogues and witty script. Great performances from the whole cast. See it, see it NOW !

This looks like the caliber of movie that Simon Pegg would act in. I totally recommend this movie, 10 out of 10. A feel good movie, with action, romance, comedy, and vampire squids from outer space.
