A mesmerising piece of cinema with each frame assembled like a studied painting in blue and tan. Simultaneously mannered yet real, the acting, characters and story are relevant and moving to give an almost fable-like quality to the experience-took me by surprise how good this film was!

Sad, funny, moving and inspiring. Exceptionally well done cinematography with a curiously vintage, magic realism to the quality.

You are nothing but a piece of shit these days if you are an asylum seeker specially if you are black doesn't matter whether you are a child or an adult, the moment you seek asylum you will submit all your rights, you are not allowed to get an education, you are not allowed to work they let you rot for years and after a decade all of a sudden you must leave the country, do you know how they treat asylum seekers in detention centers, just to witness watch the documentary 'vol special' about asylum seekers in detention about to be expelled in swiss. And in the Netherlands asylum seekers go into detention healthy and come out with PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder). This is from my personal experience, suicide among asylum seekers is the highest than any other group in the society. That's the reality in Europe fox.
