one of the best 2012/ current affairs / evolution films out there. This is really good!!! Covers some great issues and solutions for our current dilemmas on planet human. It would have been 10 hours long if they covered everything we are facing. Watch it 9/10

The imperialistic nature of the Maya, or their eventual demise has nothing to do with the galaxy. The Maya never claimed to be able to see into the future, this is a misconception. As sure as the sun sets and rises, you yourself can be certain it will rise and set tomorrow, unless of course we are erased from existence, therefore, just because you know that the sun will rise, does not mean that you can tell the future. You are basing your belief and knowledge on intellectual discovery. The Maya's calculated the orbits of the heavenly bodies and discovered a 26,000 year cycle in our galaxy. It is a purely scientific discovery which has been confirmed by scientists today, our galaxy indeed makes a full cycle every 26,000 years. 2012 marks the completion of this cycle, thus, the Maya did not see into the future, but merely offered a Calendar to which all livings things on this planet are tied to, but it still does not mean that any of them knew they would fall as men's actions here on earth do not influence the planetary cycles of the solar system.

Without the spiritual maya rederic, this documentary would have been far better. If the Mayas would have been able to foresee the future, they would not have been anahilated by a bunch of 50 Spanisch Conquistadores. The Mayas themself were pretty imperialistic, they had human sacrificies and they had slaves. It is not a crisis of consiousness, it is a crisis of the economical and political system. Psychodelic drugs are not going to change anything. We need more facts and a clear head to face the pending problems.
