Mentioning your doing a documentary in your craigslist advertisement and having a cameraguy with you at al times kinda beats the whole purpouse and point of this whole documentary. But the person who made this seems genuine and friendly though.

This gives me hope for humanity. It's a real testament to the overwhelming connection we have with one another, and how in times of need we will appreciate our individual stories and truly love each other. 10/10. If you can watch this and not feel the immediate urge to go help someone, I don't think we're watching the same movie. And executive produced by . . . Zach Galifianakis? Who saw that coming?

so happy i gave this one a chance. never expecting the flood of emotions that would follow. this documentary has somewhat returned my faith in humanity in addition to being a really good and interesting watch. zach galifianakis co-produced it. an absolute must watch if you are open to it. 5/5

I mean talk about a great Documentary. I haven't really seen to many of these but I can tell this is one of the best. I mean the internet is really such an important part of our lives, and for this film to take a look at how it can effect personal relationships is astonishing. All together I give this one 4/6 stars, and a laptop so you can look up "Craigslist Joe" on Craigslist while watching this great "Doc".

I really enjoyed this Doc. it was great and well done, yes as said before the generosity and help from strangers was a great thing to see, and it was for 2 people the cameraman as well, it's easy to not think about him, but everyone that helped Joe helped the cameraman as well.

Interesting documentary... I can't help but wonder that if this was a young black male traveling throughout America, in this same fashion, would he receive the same type of humanity? (Just a thought)

so nice to see helpful people in this documentary.

It was okay at best. I already knew that the world has some kind decent people in it, so this was not a revelation to me. Even so, the life he had for thirty days was not a good one, it was life at a poverty level at best. If that gives you goose bumps so be it, not the life I want. As an adventure film, it was something the fellow will remember for the rest of his life, and that made this trip worthwhile.

It's such a wonderful and truely inspiring and heart touching documentary. Love it 10/10. Very interesting and totally overwhelming to see how many nice and genuine people out there in USA. I live in Asia for the past 16 over years and never imagine going on such adventure. This is definately an experience of a life time for anyone who dares to take on such adventure. God Bless Joe and your crew.

What a fantastic idea! I feel that the camera aspect may have played a part in people trusting him and I also believe that had Joe been female the documentary may have taken a completely different turn... but who's to say? Maybe people out there are really that kind across the board ; )
