It's funny, some of what the guy on PCP said was almost poetic. With that aside, like Joe Rogan said, "cigarettes aren't illegal, the government isn't protecting YOU!" WE NEED TO GET RID OF 'OUR' KLEPTOCRATIC GOVERNMENTS, LIKE ASAP!!! The governments need conflict, such as wars, terrorists, 'criminals', and et cetera, just to stay above water.. so much useless conflict, and it's all misdirected...

Good and interesting documentary about the War on Drugs. Lots of facts, connections, interviews and research. Good archival material. Good flow, good involvement with the subject material, good production. I don't necessarily agree with all of the -analysis- but, for the most part, I do. In particular about South Central LA - I was there back in the day. I'm for the decriminalization of pot and for Colorado where one can buy pot over the counter in pot-shop(s). I don't think there are any easy answers to the problems around crime of any kind. I agree with the film in that we, wherever we live, should and CAN make war against poverty first and foremost then lets see what else we need to do while we address the critical needs of people trapped in the vicious cycle of poverty and that means all of us are impacted by poverty. I watched this film over a 3 day period. Twice fell asleep on it because I was bone tired not because it was boring. It isn't. Lots of stuff to research. I might add a comment later.

Really good documentary. Btw, the Joe guy at the Prison is a perfect example of somebody that just needs to smoke a joint.
