Of Unknown Origin: Bart Hughes has a pretty good life, a beautiful wife, a young son, a good job with promotion prospects, and a renovated brownstone in New York. When wife and kid leave for a vacation, Bart stays behind to work on a project that will earn him that promotion, unaware that a certain inhabitant of his basement has other plans for his time. Bart goes a bit bonkers trying to kill this rat, destroying most of his house in the process. Certain allegorical elements tie the household conflict to the "rat race" in his office, but the main event is certainly the night-and-day contest of wills between man and rodent.

Haha I really enjoyed this movie when it 1st came out. Still good enough to watch again. Very different, lol, as Peter Weller tries to outsmart a genius rat who's claimed his territory in his newly renovated home. Watch the extent he's willing to go to rid his house of the vermont. Very amusing, haha. Think I'll watch it a 3rd time. 6/10

This was a great bit of stupidity from the 80's in which Peter Weller goes head to head with the baddest rat on the block, there are some really quite funny scenes as Weller destroys the house that he'd renovated while trying to kill his nemesis,7/10.
