Roadie: For over 20 years, Jimmy Testagross has lived his childhood dream: being a roadie for his childhood heroes, Blue Oyster Cult. But the band's Arena-Rock glory days are a distant memory. County fairs and club gigs pay the bills. And Jimmy has become a casualty of these leaner times. With no place to go, no job prospects, and no real skills outside of being a roadie, Jimmy needs to regroup. So he returns to his childhood home in Queens, Ny. There, he revisits old relationships: his ailing, widower mom, a high school crush, a former nemesis and, most importantly, his relationship with himself. Jimmy, the middle-aged man-child, has never grown up. He still carries the resentments and frustrations of his youth, and has allowed them to fester and define who and what he is. Confronted with his mother's illness, Jimmy has a choice: let go of the past and take responsibility for both himself and the woman who raised and now needs him. Or continue to live a life of lies and frustration.

This was good but kind of slow. As a former musician nearing an older, unspoken age, I say this.... we all gotta grow up sometime.

Wow gr8 movie.I kind of identify with Jimmy Testagross because in the gr8 80s I was touring 4 summers with Omega a very big and famous Hungarian Rock Band all over Hungary Poland West and East Germany Austria,Chechoslovakia,Romania,Bulgaria and Yugoslavia as a Young Teenager from 15-18yrs old.It was great times unbelievable for ppl who didn't experience it Parties,Girls,Booze,Drugs and of course the most important Rock'n Roll. After I was done with it it toke mi a Decade to stop dreaming about the"Good'ol times"and get back to my life. This film is only going to be fully understand by ppl whom are former Roadies or something close to it.I mean no disrespect to other ppl but to understand u had to be there kind of thing 4/5stars Thanx and Happy Holidays

kinda has the slow documentary effect of a guy who did what he did and this whole movie could have been explained and done and over in 5 minutes so if your looking for any sort of excitement or drama its not in this movie, the movie description says it all, this movie just lets yea think of the past in which its gone live forward.3/5

This movie was great right up until the end than it dropped off a cliff with a bus of screaming kids. It had such potential to be a great movie but left me waiting for the rest of the movie. 7/10

This guy reminds me of one of my brothers. I love him. A story of how truth (regardless of if you accept it or hide from it) always becomes reality.

The Roadie may have been on the road with the band, but he really needed a road map.
