This is one of the great bollywood film that I watched. Made me cling to the end and cried like a baby. The songs are also beautiful, it also contributes to the emotional appeal of the movie and i love it. 12/10 for me.

There is a point in this very entertaining movie where tears will start to flow, but it's not a sad movie overall. It's dramatic, very musical, very, very, very funny, extremely romantic, and you are well into the movie before you actually can see the end beginning to develop. The 3 lead characters are wonderful together and they would have to be to play the parts they do - Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, and Saif Ali Khan. I often wonder what kind of relationship SRK had with his mother in real life since the relationships with his on-screen mothers is certainly something to be desired. At first, I was really disappointed to see that this appeared to be set in New York City because I love seeing India in these movies, but once the movie really got going, I didn't care because the movie just pulled me right in and all I cared about were the characters that I was getting to know better and better with each passing minute. This is another unforgettable and beautiful hit that I'm very happy to give the time to watch. I found an excellent link at You Tube that played the entire movie from one link with very accurate closed captions. I don't know if it is the posted link; when I get there, I just put the name in the search box and choose the response that says it has Eng subtitles or something like that and it gives you a page of choices (not all of the choices will have subtitles - don't ask me why), I usually have the best luck by choosing as close to the top as possible.
