Malcolm McDowell is a great actor, I enjoy his movies very much. This actually sort of reminded me of A Clockwork Orange, just less strange. I enjoyed this very much. Really great plot, and great style. Really interesting movie, with great dialogue and music. A must see!

from back in the day when mcdowell made great and bizzare film choices , and this one is no different . a very strange tale of a traveling coffee salesman intertwine with 'jam' style musical numbers . sometimes slow , but at all times gripping , this is a fitting film in the young mcdowell's film's. 9/10

I don't think many people will "get" this film, but this film is well worth it for those that do. Although "If..." is a better film, "O Lucky Man!" captures that 'destroy capitalist society' mentality that is the underlying message in Anderson's films. This is McDowell is another brilliant role. Another film for the best of collection.

Quirky yet very likable, this film maybe somewhat long but it is very enjoyable. A nice edition to the Lindsay Anderson and Malcolm Mcdowell trilogy.
