A good introduction for those just taking an interest in a smart diet. This film focusses on heart disease and trans fats. You are what you eat!

OK.. it seems there are two different versions of this film, same poster art. The one here is different than the one on Netflix. Both look great (10 mins in) but right now the netflix version is lagging in audio.

A most see. Very good documentary. Made by a medical professional concerned with the health repercussions of not knowing that is in processed food and fast food restaurants. More specificly, and in detail, partially hydrogenated oils (trans fats), that in medium levels are very toxic for human health and that NOT CONSUMING IT AT ALL, is a real prevention against the cardiovascular and diabetic disorders that's affecting humans on epidemic rates.

awsome movie, 5 stars for the small budget. he has done his home works, it is in the same genre of food matters , more people should watch these sort of movies. its hard to believe in this day and age that about 5% or less of people actually know what they put in there bodies...

Ho Lee Crap! Heart disease was "almost" non existent before the introduction of trans fats. It's scary to think that the majority of the people on this site and in the world will die from heart complications as a direct result of the trans fats in our food. And the worst part of all is that the US Government allows companies whose food has less than half a gram of hydrogenated oils (trans fats) to label their food as having 0 trans fats!!! If you dont want to watch this and learn about what's driving the human race towards extinction, at least read labels before you buy food and don't buy anything with hydrogenated oils!

It shows us yet another way we are being poisoned by a food industry that works for the good of the manufacturers, not the consumers. The labeling of items that have trans-fats as "0% Trans fats" is a disgrace. I will be looking for the words 'hydrolyzed' on labels from now on. The man-made fat is linked to a range of health problems including atherosclerosis by reducing the responsiveness of a key protein, transforming growth factor (TGF)-beta, that controls growth and differentiation in cells.
